Norfolk State's Tyrese Jenkins & Livingstone Levar Allen tell all about their journey to being successful HBCU college athletes. Getting no offers out of high school is tough - but sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands. Tyrese Jenkins made a trip down to Norfolk State for a workout and ended up getting an invite to join the team based on his skills and work ethic. Levar Allen had to leverage his connections and prove himself as well to get on with Southern Connecticut State after graduating. This is a story of perseverance and getting after your goals - and these guys in this episode both had to absolutely grind for what they have been able to achieve.
