Returning to the opening verses of the first chapter of Hebrews, we come to another glorious statement concerning our great Christ. He is the One who by Himself purged our sins. Further, after doing this amazing redemptive work, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. In these few words is found the glorious truth of the Gospel: Christ came into the world to do for us what we could never do for ourselves. Having accomplished that redemptive work, it is fitting that the Scriptures should describe so great an exaltation!

As we prepare to begin our journey -next Sunday- through the Letter to the Hebrews, we want to look at Chapter 10 of Paul's Letter to the Romans. Here, we find Paul's argument that the law pointed to the coming Christ as the fulfillment of the law's purpose. This is a very similar argument to that of the author of the Letter to the Hebrews. The Old Testament points to the glory and supremacy of Christ- Today, we will see how Paul frames this argument as he proclaims God's glorious gospel-

This is our Resurrection Day sermon for April 4, 2021. Peter, inspired by the Spirit, writes to persecuted Christians, reminding them of the outstanding hope that they have in Christ Jesus. It is a living hope that is so powerful that it transforms everything in our lives. It is a hope that allows us to understand that trials can not take away the promises of God which are offered to His people. In Christ, we are a people with a sure inheritance because it has been purchased by our Christ, who conquered the grave.

Our Lord's Day service for Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021. Today, we look at the Gospel of John 19-17-37. We are focusing on the finished work of Christ. Christ did not leave this subject to be a mystery, but openly declared the finished state of His work from the cross. Join us as we consider what our glorious Savior accomplished for us.

Today, we conclude our journey through Paul's Letters to the Thessalonian church. As we do so, we want to carefully consider how the apostle Paul closes his Second Letter to the Thessalonians. What we will see is that Paul stresses the authenticity of his greeting -which functions as a sign of the authenticity of the letter also-. Furthermore, Paul closes this incredible letter with a benedictory prayer for these young believers. He prays that the Lord of peace will grant them peace in every way. We too can use this prayer as a model as we ask the Lord to graciously bless His church with the peace that only He can provide-

Today, we continue looking at Paul's instructions on Church discipline in the church at Thessalonica. In doing so, we will look at the evidence offered in these letters in an attempt to better understand the situation. Paul's desire was to see these brothers repent of their disruptive ways. This would allow the congregation to avoid the more serious step of removing them from the fellowship.

As Paul begins to deal with a problem in Thessalonica, he will bring up the subject of Church discipline. Next Sunday, we will look at the specifics of what Paul is dealing with in this church- today, however, we are going to look more broadly at the subject of discipline in the Church.

Today's message covers the events of Monday from Holy Week in Mark 11-12-19. We will see the unusual miracle of the cursing of the fig tree, which is told in combination with Christ's cleansing of the Temple. Together, these events reveal a surprising and serious message about the judgment of God.

Paul, having requested prayer, tells the Thessalonian believers that he has a confidence that the Lord will both establish them in the truth and guard them from the evil one. Further, he has a confidence that they will continue to do the things that they have been commanded. This confidence is based on one essential truth- the unfailing faithfulness of God.

This sermon continues our series through Paul's First Letter to the Thessalonian Church. Today's sermon focuses on the first 12 verses of the second chapter, wherein Paul presents an apologia for his ministry and character. We will see that, far from acting like a charlatan, Paul has only sought to care and minister to the church. He does so that the Thessalonian believers -would live worthy of God who has called them into His own kingdom and glory.-
