December 16, 20213x11 - Space Movies X "POP για τις Δύσκολες Ώρες" (feat. Iosifina, Thodoris)

Συζητάμε για spaces movies. Ποιά θέματα είναι επιστημονικά ακριβή, και ποια όχι;

Armageddon - μπορεί ένας αστεροειδής να καταστρέψει τη γη;

Gravity - Μπορούσε να μην πεθάνει ο George Clooney;

Interstellar

The Martian - είναι οι στολές ρεαλιστικές;

Star Wars - πώς γίνεται ο κάθε πλανήτης να έχει μόνο ένα τύπο καιρού;

Cryosleep - πόσο κοντά είμαστε;

Time Travel in Fiction Rundown

The Different Types of Time Travel According to Movies

Scientific basis for time travel
We all time travel in the future

Newtonian physics: no time travel to the past

Special relativity
Travel to the future faster when going closer to the speed of light

Travel in the past when going faster than the speed of light (in somebody's reference frame)

General relativity
Backward time travel: you just travel in space. No need for a magic disappearing machine! There's no fanciness in the transport method, only in space-time.

Wormholes

Types of time travel
Realistic, time slows and accelerates
Interstellar

Ender's Game

Planet of the Apes

New/changed history
Back to the future

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

About Not a Top 10

From the publisher's feed
