We've seen this team before. Many, many, many times before.

To think the team is about to face the hardest part of the schedule after the All-Star break interrupts their 10-game win streak momentum seems a lot like in Disney's The Emperor's New Groove when Emperor Kuzco shouts "You threw off my groove!"

The only thing this team has left to do is re-ignite it's fight. Does trade acquisition do that? Does a couple wins over the Dodgers do that? Does Wilyer Abreu do that? Listen, we don't have all the answers. All we need is some consistent ball playing and a hero.

For the first time since the dawn of 2018, the Red Sox have won 10 baseball games in a row.

It almost feels like a fever dream. Two complete games - both attended by Winning Webster and Good Luck Liam. Heroics early game, mid-game, late game. Calls from Dave O'Brien that shake the room.

This team stares down the barrel of the All-Star break. The fans feel hungry for more as Greg Weissert gets enough time to put his sleepy little head down for a nap. "Buyers!" they shout. "Buyers!"

We are cautious, but we hope this team holds it together long enough to go the distance.

We like to think the Reds series was promising. We describe it in this episode as eating something delicious followed by eating something terrible, in so many words.

The hosts went on excursions this week. Jack made a pilgrimage to Worcester to see everyone's darling boy Masataka Yoshida rehab. Ian went to Fenway for a little banana ball. They both return with good news of the state of baseball.

Would you rather go to the White House or the zoo? Apparently the zoo is awesome according to former DC area native, Jack Webster. Reminder! We are not a political podcast!

What a weird, exhausting week of .500 baseball. 2/3 against the Mariners, 1/3 against the Giants. Do you think it's an FSG media trick to get more ratings that they keep this team just interesting enough to have us watching but just bad enough to not play good? IDK just a thought.

We saw our old girlfriend (Rafael Devers) on a date with another woman (The San Francisco Giants). She (our old girlfriend Rafael Devers) looks well.

Kristian Campbell has been sent to Worcester. Roman Anthony now has his first major league home run. The Red Sox hover just above .500 and I swear to God if I have to see that Pod On Lansdowne .500 meme one more time I will put America's Sweetheart Liam Fennessy in a tower far, far away.

Have you, great fan of Red Sox nation, ever heard the phrase "It's over, we're back..."? You have?? Why is that?

Swept by the Brewers, big woof. Short-rallied once, and walked off twice. Definitively, it's over. Hendriks to the IL. This is the "it's over" part.

But then - won the Braves series! The Braves are a way better team than the Brewers. Big show ups from Trevor Story and Garrett Crochet. This is the "we're back" part.

Pick a lane and my god let it be the winning one.

Ever been so mid you split a series with the Baltimore Orioles? I, personally, would never. Those chuckle-ducks in Boston seem to have a different idea.

If I have to watch another year of this clown team I am going to get into my little clown car and drive myself over to clown town to check myself in to the clown hospital to get evaluated for clown-schizophrenia. I'm sure you all feel the same way.

The topics? The Braves series (clown), the Mets series (less clown), the Orioles series (maximum clown).

Also, stop sending death threats to players. This is a threat.
