In this week's sport-hopping episode, Rich, Muzz and the Bone try - and fail - to apply sabermetrics and NBA wage structures to the front office mess at Collingwood, Richie names his virtuoso shithead performance of the round, one high-flying club tumbles down T-Bone's happiness ladder and Muzz reaches breaking point with North Melbourne's 'process'.
In part three of T-Bone's Knausgaardian vigil on the greatest coaches of the AFL era, Rich, Muzz and the Bone trade tales on the football gods' chosen one - Malcolm Blight - for 51 minutes. Genius or madman? Messiah or naughty boy? Maybe, just maybe, it can be all of them.
ARIA award-winning rock musician Dan Sultan joins Rich, Muzz and the Bone to psychoanalyse his love of the St Kilda Football Club and to re-live his own (slightly embellished) career as captain of the Espy Rockdogs. With Dan fired up, the panel tackle the Plugger v Dunstall debate, the Cornes v McGuire debate and, least importantly, their ongoing Rascals v $hitheads debate.
T-Bone relives two legendary moments on the premiership dais as he leads Rich and Muzz through part two in his odyssey on the greatest coaches in the AFL era, celebrating trauma cleaners, salesmen, chemists and chokers!
With the Bone in the hurt locker, Rich and Muzz activate their medical sub for the first time this season, locking horns on all the major issues in the game: Catman's retirement, the curse of caretakers, dirty haircuts, truth hammers, sexy footy, and for one haloed club, business is closed!
T-Bone seizes the hosting mic and puts in a best-on-ground performance (aside from his singing) in the first instalment of our 20 Greatest Coaches in the AFL Era series, with guest appearances from some of the game's most controversial - and, frankly, unpleasant - coaches.
With their teams in turmoil, Rich, Muzz and the Bone enter group therapy only to quickly reignite their 'Buddy' Franklin feud, as well as their long-running spat over post-match press conferences, and buoyed by finding an unlikely ally in the cesspool of Twitter, Richie Buckets launches into a (surprisingly articulate) tirade about retired footballers hoping to receive lifelines in the mid-season draft.
In their most 'risk-taking' episode yet, Rich, Muzz and the Bone riff on the golden grub's leadership credentials, blood feuds, contrived cult figures and the true $hitheads of the AFL, and Richie closes the one business he never wanted to close.
With Josh Bruce booting ten, Harry McKay snagging seven and Tex Walker slotting another six goals, Rich, Muzz and T-Bone celebrate the return of the key forward (and the demise of 'Plugger' Wallis), as well as questioning the Swans' exploitation of the academy system and Dimma's post-match humble brag, all while trying to avoid discussing the soul-destroying performances of their own teams this round.
Rich, Muzz and T-Bone discuss Friday night's spiteful game down at the Cattery, the subtle and not so subtle art of opponent intimidation, Tay Tay's Fight Club and the joy of being back at the footy, among the 'great unwashed', plus they unleash the show's latest (and least rational) segment: 'Richie vs The Field'
