Not Like This

In the absence of finals football, Richie, Muzz and T-Bone riff on the coaching merry-go-round, the good and the bad of the Alastair Clarkson appointment, the theft of RoboCox's prescription glasses, the defection of a much-loved employee from Richie's Subway Suns franchise and the panel give their reaction to the AFLPA and All Australian awards, before celebrating (and bickering over) the return of their own awards for the game's second and third tier players...allegedly!

Richie Buckets emerges from his submarine with evangelical joy after the Pies' heart-stopping victory over the old enemy, before delivering a final Cripps Watch for the season and handing out his much-coveted Subway Suns employee of the YEAR award. The boys also discuss the stabbiness at the Gabba, Clarko's 'unfinished business' at Arden Street, the career of a Port Power genius and an absurd week at Bomberland.

T1O4 returns with a look at the greatest unicorns of the AFL era. In a fun-filled episode, T-Bone and Richie Buckets pay homage to Kouta, Silk, Hirdy and the boss unicorn himself, Adam Goodes, while running the rule over some of the game's failed unicorns who 'could've been anything'.

Rich and T-Bone front up after the suffocating Swans ended the Pies' incredible winning streak and, with St Kilda's season in tatters, Muzz revisits the Saints' (delusional) pre-season mantra. All three panel members rejoice in the heroics of King Melk and correct Christian Petracca's ill-informed theory on bed defecation, and, with North Melbourne on the brink of offering Alastair Clarkson the top gig, Bone does his best to provide Clarko with the roo-print for future success.

T-Bone and Richie Buckets give their live reaction to Josh Kennedy's last game (and bag) for the Eagles and celebrate by scorching the earth in the west, even getting stuck into Yawn-mantle! They also wax on Teddy Three Lungs' sledge that backfired against the Pies, the Blues' blues, the five-year fallout from the Crows' notorious summer camp and, after the Giants' victory over the Bombers, the necessity of coaches publicly humiliating their players.

T-Bone picks a fight he can't possibly win with 'Lethal' Leigh Matthews, while paying tribute to Cats' champ Joel Selwood. Richie settles old scores with 'Teflon' Kenny, as the Pies' winning streak rolls on, and explains why business is still (just) open for the Tigers.  And Muzz rejoices in the return of the Demons and Big Boy School, before finding a way to sulk, even in victory, over the sunk-cost Saints.

T104 continues with a look at the top 10 ruckmen of the AFL era, as T-Bone takes Rich and Muzz through some of the legends to have played the most physically demanding position in the game, featuring spiders, sandgropers, mummies, wardrobes, Irishmen and a host of other colourful characters. Will the panel have any respect for Brownlow Medals and Leigh Matthews Trophies, and will Max Gawn ascend to number one?

T-Bone shares his disbelief fresh from 'Billy' Elliott's after the siren goal against the Bombers, and Muzz self-loathes his way through the Saints-Eagles game live on air as the boys riff on fan forum fury, scorched earths, death lineups, clock management, tip rats, 'Teflon' Kenny's latest ken-undrum, Bone's increasingly irrational fear of Richmond and the beauty of the Geelong Retirement Community's low-energy club song.

Rich and Muzz run a high-tempo two-man game as they tackle the major talking points of round 18: the brain farts in the dying minutes of the North Melbourne-Richmond game, Sam Draper's looooooooong sausage roll, Little Nicky's ascension to God-like status, Saint BJ's 15,612th career tantrum, Richie's disgust with his favourite (pop-up) Subway franchise and 'Wild Man' Scotty's Cats finally being primed to walk...through...the...gates!

In this week's episode, the podcast breaches its constitution by showering the party-crashing Bombers with love and (briefly) lifting the Paddy McCartin compliment embargo. They explore the Vietnamese cuisine implications of the Bulldogs' demise, as well as revealing the 2024 AFL premiers. And fresh from Muzz and T-Bone issuing on-air retractions, Richie makes the treacherous journey to consult the Football Gods to learn if he can issue the greatest retraction of them all.
