To top it off, there’s the ongoing saga of reaching 2,000 minutes for Canadian players on Halifax’s roster under the age of 21, a requirement to make the playoffs (and avoid financial penalty). The team is outside the playoff picture, but that, too should give Wanderers coach Patrice Gheisar the freedom to play some younger players.
