NOW YOU MADE IT AWKWARD

Rikki is off this episode so I took the time to talk with Rusty 1 on 1. We discuss the slippery slope of attention span that seem brought on by Tik Tok. How great Star Trek Piccard has become compared to some other Sci-Fi shows. The really dumb and restrictive beer laws in Texas and what 1 Hollywood star owned brewery is doing about it. The newest and fastest Dodge Challenger Demon has arrived and for 100k you too can experience 2 Gs horizontally. Also a crazy person tried to shoot up a strip club and was promptly stopped.

Since we missed last week Rikki and I got back together to discuss the recent events that led to the worst week of 2023.

This week we have some odd stories if you can't tell from the title. I tried a much stronger "cbd" gummy with...interesting results. We catch up on our shows like usual. And we have a story from  @tfsource  where they had to remove some blatant racist toys from their website. Yeah. Who knew?

This week we have an extra host: Mike. Together we discuss those stupid Youtube ads we've all seen where they are trying to sell you something without telling you what you're actually buying, but it definitely will help you lose weight with this age old secret.

We forgot we hadn't talked #TheLastofUs so we catch up on that and #themandalorian is back! It's surprising how people can be so mad at a show connecting itself to a larger galaxy that has other stories in it.

Finally we discuss a growing problem in schools where students are either verbally or even worse physically assaulting teachers over seemingly minor things. Is it because there's no respect left in this world or a deeper psychological problem in today's youth?

There's a new #marvelstudios movie out. The start of #phase5 gives us the new slightly expanded Ant Family going on a new adventure deep into the Quantum Realm to discover that not only is there a whole universe of people down there, but the #MCU has a new threat: #Kang.

We all gave it a similar rating, but we clearly felt different about different aspects of the movie. SO come down to our level and check out our review of #antmanandthewaspquantumania

Some changes were announced last week on the Shoky channels. An end of a era they may say. So we discuss why I quit my main gig and what it means to fall out of love with something.

In that same vein we go over the loss of friends, social circles, or community. Is it a question of just getting older or is it that the world is now hyper polarized?

We are back this week with just me and Rikki, but there is plenty to discuss. Including getting caught up on The Last of Us since we've somehow not talked about it since Episode 2. Rikki also finally tells us how and why his brand new Playstation 5 died on him. Indiana Jones 5 gets a Tv Spot and extended trailer to show us how much de-aged Harrison Ford we are getting. And The Flash movie trailer dropped, or should I say Batman with a hint of Flash?

Since we all had a hell of a week we didn't get a chance to record a new podcast so why not just go live with it? Playing catchup on the last 3 episodes of The Last of Us and discussing Idris Elba's recent interview where he denounces being called a "Black Actor."
