Tensions are climbing once again in the Middle East with Iran launching drone attacks against Bahrain Saturday, while a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz was struck by a projectile.

The Department of State releases the text of a U.S.-brokered agreement between Israel and Lebanon that charts a path toward ending decades of conflict. The deal calls for the disarming of the Hezbollah terrorist group and a phased withdrawal of Israeli troops from southern Lebanon.

President Donald Trump spoke at the 2026 Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Policy Conference, sounding the alarm on communism.

“The biggest thing we have to do is we have to stop this horrible threat of cancer that’s permeating our country, called communism,” Trump said. Trump also warned Democrats about the slew of self-proclaimed democratic socialists who have gained ground in New York.
