Day 1 of LSU Football Fall Camp is in the books, and it did not disappoint. Garrett Nussmeier and the offense came out firing early, overwhelming the defense with precision passing and explosive plays — including a deep touchdown connection to Kentucky transfer Barion Brown, who made an immediate splash.

But the defense wasn’t about to stay quiet.

When the team moved outdoors for 11-on-11, the defense responded with a dominant stretch, racking up multiple sacks — three of which came from LSU’s newest transfers. The front seven showed their depth and physicality in a big way.

We also got clarity on the offensive line, as Braelin Moore stepped in as the starting center, taking first-team reps throughout practice.
