In the return from the Holiday Break the Toronto Maple Leafs made sure to provide an entertaining finish with a 5-4 victory over the St. Louis Blues in overtime. David Morassutti and Mike DiStefano look at what impressed them the most from the game with non-stop action from start to finish and a red-hot Sheldon Keefe toward the officiating and another shaky night from Ilya Samsonov. In their Three Stars of the Game, Mike and Dave look at the play of Auston Matthews, Alexander Kerfoot, William Nylander and Calle Jarnkrok who played a big part in the overtime. They debate whether teams should have the opportunity to decide if they want to take a penalty shot or get the two-man advantage instead. To end the show, Mike and Dave give their thoughts on Team Canada opening the World Juniors with a surprising loss to Czechia and whether it's too early to be concerned about the team.
