Revival That Transforms: Praying for America & the Nations | Oasis City Church Columbus

Pastor Bill Themelaras of Oasis City Church Columbus shares a message calling the American Church to pursue revival that leads to transformation and reformation, emphasizing that the world watches America and needs a renewed Church to impact other nations. Using Habakkuk 3:1–2 and 2 Chronicles 7:14, he prays for God to “do it again” in a time of deep national need, and teaches that revival begins with personal transformation, then reaches families, communities, cities, and can shift a nation. He surveys major moves of God including the First, Second, and Third Great Awakenings, the Welsh Revival, Azusa Street, mid-20th-century evangelistic and healing revivals, the Jesus Movement, charismatic renewal, Toronto and Brownsville, and the 2023 Asbury outpouring. He urges believers to live as a “city on a hill,” carry kingdom responsibility, and pray for mercy, righteousness, and national healing.

Revival Can Change a Nation (Part 2): Can God Trust Us? | Oasis City Church Columbus

Pastor Bill Demillares of Oasis City Church Columbus continues “Revival Can Change a Nation” by asking whether God can trust His people with revival, emphasizing that true revival brings transformation and reformation beyond church services into families, communities, schools, and government. He teaches that revival must produce holiness, repentance, justice and compassion, unity, and mission, citing scriptures including 1 Peter 1, 2 Peter 1, James 4, Psalms 24 and 15, Isaiah 58, John 17, and Matthew 28. He shares examples from the Welsh Revival, Azusa Street, and the Moravian Revival’s 100-year prayer movement, and recounts prophetic leading into missions in Colombia and a planned trip to Peru. He closes with prayer for holy living, unity, authority for mission, and generational continuation of revival.

On July 20, 2025, Oasis City Church gathered at Westerville's Amphitheater. With Oasis City Worship and over 19 baptisms, the service emphasized their journey from humble beginnings to acquiring a new property. Our senior leaders shared stories on their growth, the principles of sowing and reaping as per scripture, and their commitment to the city. The script includes announcements about their fishing ministry, an upcoming 'Revive All' conference, and the excitement of purchasing a new building that promises to serve multiple generations. The leaders share personal anecdotes, celebrate the community's dedication, and express gratitude for the faithful contributions that have made their progress possible. They conclude with a collective moment of thanksgiving and joy.
