Oasis City Church

We live in an Age of Information where the truth can be hard to find. Deepfakes, misinformation, and rumors constantly bombard us. As followers of Jesus, we must know how to find truth and apply it to our lives.

One of the most critical choices will be made by voters in Ohio on November 7. Issue 1 is officially called "Right to Make Reproductive Decisions Including Abortion Initiative (2023)". In addition to making abortions in Ohio both "on-demand" and "late-term," the wording in this ACLU-generated amendment to the constitution leaves openings for parental notification to be eliminated, gender assignment for minors on demand, and much more.
Oasis City Church's John Ondo speaks with Ruth Edmonds of Center for Christian Virtue about Issue 1 and clear up the confusion. Oasis City Church stands for life and urges you to vote NO on Issue 1 this fall. Early voting is open as of 10.11, and Election Day is November 7.

Footwashing is a tradition from the early church based on the practice and teaching of Jesus recorded in John’s Gospel. Some churches today even practice it as a sacrament, equal to Water Baptism and Communion. If we dare lean in and take a closer look at this awkward tradition, we might discover a truth worth the discomfort.

Any belief that baptism serves only as an initiation into the church is dangerously ignorant. Jesus, Paul, and the Scriptures of the Old Testament all show us that water baptism, married with Spirit baptism, is the very portal through which we experience and walk in salvation.
