Oblivious Maximus - Podcast

Pete Bursky (Sumeru, Brilliant Emperor Records) is my guest for this episode of the podcast, talking about the self-titled Danzig album! We discussed this, Sumeru, No Apologies and his label Brilliant Emperor records, give it a suss!

David James Young (All My Friends are in Bar Bands, Hottest 100s and 1000s), returns to the podcast to talk about the Fiona Apple record, 'The Idler Wheel...' . Good chat with Australia's most prolific show-goer and all-round legend, give it a suss! Brutal.

Self-described 'professional person' Callum Preston returns to the podcast for the 5th time! We discussed 'The Blue Album' by Weezer and then got into general chit chat about our lives and things surrounding a record like this. CHECK IT OUT!

Dakota Gordon is my guest for this episode of the podcast, discussing the album 'Through Silver in Blood' by Neurosis. Dakota is an amazing photographer (who kindly let me use a picture of hers for the cover for this podcast), and someone who shares a lot of similar music tastes to me, so this was a fun chat about a ripping record. Get into it.

Nate Newton (Converge, Old Man Gloom) is my guest for this episode of the Oblivious Maximus Podcast. Nate and I had a chat about the U2 record 'The Joshua Tree', great convo, good dive into how U2 informed record arrangement and writing for Nate, check it out and stay safe! Brutal!

Stu Ross (Comeback Kid, Misery Signals) is my guest on this episode of the Oblivious Maximus podcast, we rip into Green Day's 'Insomniac' album, and chat through how that influenced and continues to influence Stu. GRAB A DRINK, HAVE A LISTEN!

Leon del Muerte (Terrorizer LA, Lightbreaker) is my guest on this episode of the Oblivious Maximus Podcast to discuss the Secret Chiefs 3 record, 'Book of Horizons'! Fun chat about a weird record that definitely covers a lot of different genres and musical styles. RIP IN!

Bo Lueders (Harm's Way) is my guest for this episode of the Oblivious Maximus Podcast, discussing the Nine Inch Nails album, 'Pretty Hate Machine'. This was a fun chat, a good mate exposing me to the intricacies of a record I've not listened to that much myself. RIP IN!

Welcome back to the Oblivious Maximus Podcast! The first episode of the revamped version features Lee Jowono (Potion). We're gonna spend this time in isolation (and hopefully into the future), speaking to guests like Lee about specific records that they love and have a lot to talk about - Lee and I caught up about Metallica's '...And Justice for All'!

GIVE IT A SUSS AND A SHARE! BRUTAL!

This week my guest is Slatts (King Parrot), back for a second time to chat about the new King Parrot record, 'Ugly Produce' as well as their recent touring jaunts about the globe. Good chinwag, good Blood Duster worship. BRUTAL!
