Today, I felt compelled to share my thoughts and feelings about a part of God often overlooked: God, the Mother. I grew up in the church, where “God the Mother” was not something we were ever exposed to—the closest we came was Mary, the mother of Jesus, yet never a Mother Goddess in her own right.

Though I don’t view these as literal figures, I believe everyone embodies archetypes of these divine energies. Similar to how the Force is presented in Star Wars, I believe this balanced force of Father and Mother exists within all of us, and when united, it becomes the Christ—the Son of God within us all. Recently, I’ve found myself praying to Mother God, seeking guidance, clarity, and insights from realms beyond.
