The devotional for children this morning by Dr. McIntyre related his experiences flying and how he appreciated the experience and checking of the plane by the pilot and all those involved. He then shared that our pilot is the Lord Jesus our good shepherd who is watching over each of us and our lives.
The morning message at Brainerd Baptist Church came from Revelation and the new Jerusalem. The Lord will measure the city exactly as seen in Revelation. God is a God of precision and design and so He has a plan of measure for our lives and we should seek out this balance of life.

This is the evening service for Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The service was dedicated to the observance of the Lord's Supper conducted by Brother McIntyre. The observance was preceded by a time of special music and congregational singing. There were two selections by the Youth Choir titled "This is the Day the Lord Hath Made" and "Lord Make a Miracle in My Life." Tamara Hammond sang a solo. The congregation sang "Glory to His Name," "Blessed be the Name of the Lord," "Something About That Name" and "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross."
This morning service at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee was blessed by Carla Carrol singing "We Are Standing on Holy Ground" while accompanied by her husband Tony on the piano.
Dr. McIntyre then called the children forward for his weekly time with them. He told the story of how many small sticks can be broken but if placed around one big sturdy stick they can all stand. So too it will be difficult by ourselves but we can be strong with Jesus in the center of our lives to give us strength and life.
Following the solo and choir singing of "The King is Coming" Dr. McIntyre gave his morning message telling the story of Isaac and the altar built, the tent pitched and the well dug and how we must dig wells spiritually for the blessings of others.
This wonderful evening service dedicated the first 30 minutes to congregational singing and special music which included the following:

Brother McIntyre's message was on the first name given to Christians - Followers of the Way. As the first Christians were known by this name we should apply this name to our lives today. The invitational hymn was "Jesus I Come."
For this morning service at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee Brother McIntyre began the first of many brief sessions when he called all the children of the church to come forward for him to deliver a message especially for them. He told the kids they could call him Granddaddy Mc. His lesson for the children emphasized to them that since Jesus even knew how many hairs were on their head He even more knows everything about them and loves and cares for them.
The main message for the morning centered around the story of Jesus asleep in the boat as a storm raged causing great fear for the disciples. Brother McIntyre said when we think Jesus is indifferent to us we need to remember He does care, He is concerned, He will help us stand fast to do our job and seek His will. Be faithful. Jesus is still at work in His world. He is not indifferent to our needs, our hurts, and our sins. Surrender your all to Him.
This evening service at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee featured the Youth Choir singing "This is the Day the Lord Hath Made" and "Before I Take It to the World, What Should I Do." The congregational singing that evening included "There's Within My Heart a Melody," "He Lives," "Praise the Lord Alleluia," "He Shall Rise," and "Reach Out." A Men's Quartet sang "We Shall Rise."
In response to the title of the message Dr. McIntyre asked the congregation who they selected and then the searching question of did anyone select you. He encouraged everyone to walk worthy of the Lord, be fruitful and always be increasing. The invitation hymn was "Jesus Is Lord of All."
During this morning service at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee Brother McIntyre shared that he would be serving as Interim Pastor for the next three months at Brainerd. His message for that Sunday morning was on "Power for Living" and he told the congregation to, "Lay hold and claim what He has promised you. Don't be weak in the Christian experience. Make your aim worthy of the power of God available."
For this morning service at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee the family of Dr. McIntyre was welcomed as Brother McIntyre delivered the message. He preached that we should all be urgently praying and studying the Word as we try to look at our corner of the world the way God does and try to gain His perspective as we make decisions in our lives that include God.
Preceding the message Mrs. Tony Carroll sang "It's My Desire." The congregational singing included the following great hymns of the faith, "Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us," He Leadeth Me," and "Have Thine Own Way Lord." The service concluded with the singing of "One in the Bond of Love."
The evening service of July 20, 1986 for Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga,Tennessee included a special musical tribute honoring the 100th birthday of hymn writer B.B.McKinney. The music was provided by the church choir including several male and female solos, female trios, and male and female duets. Congregational singing was also hymns written by B.B. McKinney including "Have Faith in God," God Give Us Christian Homes," and "Serve the Lord with Gladness."
Brother McIntyre's message on faith encouraged the congregation that "faith is the victory," and Christians can overcome the world through faith in the Lord and use that faith to take them to where the Lord wants them to go.
Dr. McIntyre was the guest speaker at this morning service at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This recording is of the entire service. The service begins with a 10 minute prelude of chimes and organ. This service marked the 100th birthday of hymn writer B.B. McKinney with his hymns being featured throughout the service including a solo by Linda Page of "For Me."
Dr. McIntyre challenged the congregation with the question of whom shall you hear and obey. It is very important to discern truth and hear the voice of God through the Word of God. The hymn of invitation was "Nail Scarred Hands" another hymn written by B.B. McKinney.
