In this evening message Dr. McIntyre reads the story of Hezekiah and Isaiah from the book of II Kings. Hezekiah opened his house to the ambassadors from Babylon and showed all the treasures of his land with no credit given to the Lord. Isaiah confronted Hezekiah and asked him, "What hath they seen in thy house?" Isaiah then relates how all would be carried away into Babylon. So the question for today from Brother McIntyre was, "What about your house? Is  Jesus at home in your house?"

Loneliness is an awful hurt. Dr. McIntyre shares the feelings of loneliness he would feel as a young boy when he would go to spend time with his grandparents. Everything was alright during the day but that feeling of loneliness would creep up on him at sunset. He experienced that same feeling during his first year in the Navy. Just like him there are a lot of people experiencing the pangs of loneliness in the world today. Dr. McIntyre shares that the answer is in Jesus. The service comes to its conclusion with the singing of "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus."

For the second service on Christmas Eve morning Dr. McIntyre preached the same sermon with some changes as he encouraged the congregation to make this the perfect Christmas by giving their lives surrendered to Jesus. 

This Christmas Eve service tells of the perfect Christmas, the beautiful diamond God has shaped for us in the birth of our Savior.

The Scripture passage for this morning's message was on those healed who simply fell under the shadow of the apostle Peter. Shadows are important in the lives of all Christians. The shadows of those in your life that have encouraged and inspired you such as parents, friends and brothers and sisters in the Lord have impacted your life. The challenge goes out that we too should cast long shadows in all that we do and say so as to positively impact all those with whom we come in contact. And then Brother McIntyre applied the message as a challenge to give toward world missions and in that way each person can also cast a long shadow for good in reaching the lost for the Lord Jesus.

Today's message is based on the Scripture passage of Revelation 6:14, "Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in thru the gate into the city."

Even though God has created man as a rational, thinking, acting creature, and is capable of doing many things, he is unable to secure his salvation, but must look to the one who is able to do what we are unable to do and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. What man is able to do is to confess his sins and open his heart to accept Jesus as the only way of Salvation.
