This recording of the November 11, 1973 worship at Brainerd Baptist Church includes the complete service with a baptismal service, a female soloist singing "Like a Wandering Sheep,"  a choir selection and a ladies trio singing "God Did a Wonderful Thing for Me."

The scripture passage for the message was from II Kings 2:19-22.

Dr. McIntyre spoke on the waters of Jericho and illustrated that our lives should not be as brackish waters but lives that are streams flowing with helpfulness, lives bringing nourishment, and lives that can bring fruit for the kingdom.

This message was presented as part of a weekly devotional program on KWAM Radio in Memphis, Tennessee. Today’s message was a given by Dr. J. Ralph McIntyre in the absence of Dr. Robert G. Lee, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church. Dr. McIntyre is the Assistant Pastor at Bellevue. The message was preceded by a wonderful rendition of “O Love That Will Not Let Me Go,” performed by Ruth Parchman & Jeanette Ross.

The scripture used in today’s message was Romans 1:1-4. Dr. McIntyre preached on the meaning of the Gospel as revealed in Jesus Christ with faith as the doorway.

This message was recorded on September 22, 1956 for a weekly fifteen minute devotional program on KWAM Radio in Memphis, Tennessee. The program was sponsored by Bellevue Baptist Church and featured Pastor Robert G. Lee. The speaker for this week's message was Assistant Pastor Ralph McIntyre. Dr. Lee was speaking at a special engagement in the Canal Zone and thus Ralph McIntyre was the guest speaker for this devotional and again the next week on September 29th.

Brother McIntyre's Scripture passage was Romans 1:1. For his message he examined three words in this verse. The words were "apostle," "separated" and "gospel."

In addition to the message the Bellevue Choir performed the selection "Victory Thru Grace."

On November 4, 1973 Dr. McIntyre gave a message on Acts 1:8 on the importance of spreading the Gospel to all parts of the world. This recording includes the whole service which includes several baptisms. The choir selections were "There's a New Song in My Heart," "It Was There on Calvary" and "He Hideth My Soul in the Cleft of the Rock." In between numerous congregational singings were a church training report and announcements. Preceding the message a soloist sang "He Set Me Free." The service concludes with an invitation sung to "Just As I Am" and an introduction of those that came forward. 

On Sunday morning July 8, 1973 Dr. McIntyre preached at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. At this service the City of Chattanooga made an Ambassador Good Will presentation to the Brainerd Youth Group named "God's Minority." The group was leaving on a mission trip to Connecticut the next morning. Brother McIntyre preached on the life of Gideon who was in God's minority. The message was a challenge to the youth as they embarked on this mission trip.

The congregation was also blessed to hear three selections from guest soloist Mrs. Norman Chase. She sang "I Believe in Miracles," "Psalm 13" and "I Have Been Born Again." The church choir sang several selections including "There's a New Song in My Heart."
