Odd and Untold

This week we're examining some new A.I. stabilized footage of the Patterson-Gimlin film. Shot in 1967 in Bluff Creek, California, Patterson-Gimlin film is perhaps the most iconic piece of Bigfoot media in existence. Divisive and inconclusive, it's either the best hoax in human history, or definitive footage of the elusive Bigfoot. Does this new look using artificial intelligence give us any more clues to what is in this footage? Or are we right where we were prior? Listen as Scott Perry and I dissect the footage, the history, and the new A.I. look at the film! And be sure to leave your thoughts below in the comments :)

This week I fall down a rabbit hole I usually try to avoid: Reddit! I come across 4 creepy stories, and relate them to some of my own paranormal experiences. Enigmatic men stalking families. Strange orbs of light in the woods. Lamps and light fixtures turning on by themselves. And a shadow figure possibly caught on camera. I discuss these stories and more in this episode!

Do you have your own spooky or creepy story you'd like to chare? Email me at [email protected]

This week my friend Courtney Mroch of Haunt Jaunts returns! In this episode, we discuss the dangers and pitfalls of investigating the paranormal. Most of the discussion is regarding ghost hunting, but we also discuss investigating Bigfoot, demons, lake monsters, and UFOs! What do you think the dangers of investigating the paranormal can include? Did we miss any? Let us know in the comments!

We're doing something a little different this week, and showing our love for other paranormal podcasts and YouTube channels! This is far from a comprehensive list, but Scott and I talk about some of the shows we listen to regularly, and why you should too. So give it a listen and once you're finished all the Odd & Untold episodes, go check out some of these fantastic shows!

Joining me this week is Heidi Worley, who shares some of her personal stories of high strangeness! Her first tale is a creepy ghost story from her childhood, and then she tells of two possible Bigfoot encounters she had in the Ozarks. Heidi is also a cryptid researcher in Alaska, and shares some stories of her favorite Alaskan cryptids such as Otter Man, the Iliamna lake monster, and more!

This week, I take a look at some pics I took as a paranormal investigator. One, from the Conference House on Staten Island, appears to show two glowing figures. The other photo, taken at my old apartment in Brooklyn, seems to show a shadow person. I'm pretty sure I have sufficiently debunked these photos, but what do you think they are? This episode is all about fostering healthy, respectful debate and discussion, so leave your thoughts below!

We take a deep dive this week into the concept of belief in the paranormal! Josh and Scott return to discuss the difference between faith-based approaches versus more scientific fact-based standpoints. Josh presents the Kalam Cosmological Argument, which is a framework for allowing the possibility of God to exist. And we use this framework to then discuss how this can possibly explain the supernatural world and things like ghosts, Bigfoot, UFOs, and other paranormal phenomena. Come down the rabbit hole with us as we break down why belief in the paranormal may not be as far-fetched as some would have you think!

On this week's episode, I interview my son 15-year old son Jake, who had a couple of UFO sightings in Brooklyn, most notably in Coney Island! But first, he talks about a mysterious shadow person he saw one night in his bedroom. And he ends the show with a humorous yet puzzling sighting of what he calls "Dolphin Man." Let us know what you think he saw in the comments below!

This week's episode was filmed on location in Burnt-Rossman Hills State Forest in the northern Catskill Mountains! Josh and I camped for two nights at a lean-to in the snowy woods, and recorded this episode around the campfire on night two. Here we discuss ghost hunting, UFO stories, Bigfoot, and more while enjoying some delicious beer from  @FlagshipBrewery !
