Odd and Untold

My friend John returns this week as we share some stories of high strangeness we both encountered in our younger years while camping at Point Folly on Bantam Lake in Connecticut. Two of our stories are more traditional UFO stories, but the third one of more unusual. Did we encounter some natural phenomenon? or was this something far more strange and Fortean? This week, Scott Perry and I discuss a topic that seems to keep cropping up in the Bigfoot world: the controversy surrounding the Sasquatch Chronicles podcast. Wes Germer started his show with the premise that he and his brother, Woody, had experienced a terrifying Bigfoot encounter on Yacolt Mountain in Washington State, But as people started investigating his story, many inconsistencies came to light. Co-hosts left the show, and to this day, people still debate Germer's story. Was it all a fabrication? Or was Wes just confused? And ultimately, does it matter? This week, I talk about the story of Snug Harbor, a supposedly haunted cultural center on Staten Island, NY. Originally a retirement community for aging sailors, the grounds are now home to museums, art galleries, gardens, and agricultural sites. We experienced something weird in the Matron's House, and here I present he video of the footsteps we heard.

For this week's episode, I decided to tell the story of some weird howls I heard while staying in Upstate New York, in the Hudson River Valley. I'm not sure if they were actual Bigfoot howls, but that's definitely what they sounded like. A weird encounter to be sure, and I will probably never know what they really were. What do you think? My friend John is back again, with another spooky story! This one involves his ex-girlfriend, their cat, their dog, and a possibly haunted doll. John is still unsure of what to make of their experience from over 20 years ago, but the implications of what they experienced are quite scary and disturbing. But we also talk about some creepy dolls from "Seinfeld" to lighten the mood. This is one of my favorite paranormal stories ever, so don't miss it!
