This week, I take a look at some pics I took as a paranormal investigator. One, from the Conference House on Staten Island, appears to show two glowing figures. We take a deep dive this week into the concept of belief in the paranormal! Josh and Scott return to discuss the difference between faith-based approaches versus more scientific fact-based standpoints. Josh presents the Kalam Cosmological Argument, which is a framework for allowing the possibility of God to exist. And we use this framework to then discuss how this can possibly explain the supernatural world and things like ghosts, Bigfoot, UFOs, and other paranormal phenomena. This week, Scott Perry and I discuss a topic that seems to keep cropping up in the Bigfoot world: the controversy surrounding the Sasquatch Chronicles podcast. Wes Germer started his show with the premise that he and his brother, Woody, had experienced a terrifying Bigfoot encounter on Yacolt Mountain in Washington State, But as people started investigating his story, many inconsistencies came to light. Co-hosts left the show, and to this day, people still debate Germer's story. Was it all a fabrication? Or was Wes just confused? And ultimately, does it matter? Originally a retirement community for aging sailors, the grounds are now home to museums, art galleries, gardens, and agricultural sites.
