B级电影，低成本电影

30年代有了B movie的概念（这个词是1948年出来的）。B movies是没有那么多钱制作的电影，也还是有观众去看的。美国经济大萧条时期（1929年-1933年），美国电影院进行双片连映（double feature），连着放映两部不同类型的电影，更好的、更热门的电影叫A movie，像《卡萨布兰卡》《乱世佳人》《公民凯恩》《绿野仙踪》这些电影都是A movie。人们为了看A movie买票进了电影院，另一部通常是制作成本不高的西部片、恐怖电影、科幻电影，常常还是黑白电影，低成本的这一部就叫B movie。而且B movie会先放映，因为如果先放A movie，观众会看完就走了，还觉得自己买的电影票不太值。

随着双片连映的取消以及电影制作成本的增加，B movie类别就逐渐落幕了。

现在的电影制作有时还会提到B movie。

“低成本电影”要怎么说呢？

① 低成本电影 —> 便宜地制作的电影

蒙太奇是一种剪辑方法，这个词来自于法语。蒙太奇剪辑的对象可以是图片、电影或者音乐，通过剪辑，把几个不同的图片、影像、声音片段组合在一起（这些片段不是一次拍摄或录制而成的）。素材组合顺序不一样，所表达的意思、看的听的感受也会很不一样。这种剪辑方法就叫蒙太奇。

到现在，movie 已经是很正式的词了，大家可能想不到movie这个词是怎么造出来的，经历了哪些变化。

Movie是moving picture的缩写，movie开头的mov来自moving的mov，movie后面的ie是词缀，-ie表示小的，可爱的（狗dog，小狗狗doggie）。

Movie这个词最早在1909年印刷品（报刊书籍）上就已经出现了，但到了1946年，美国最高法院里有关电影诉讼裁决才用了movie这个词。到1946年时，moving picture和motion picture表示“电影”已经用了46年，movie经历了好几十年才“转正”，成为了正式的词。
