有时我们会想给不可数名词加个数量，当作可数名词来用，怎么办呢？

有一个方法是使用量词。

比如，他给了我一条/个信息。
information 名词[U]，信息

—> 需要加上量词 a piece of 一件，一个，一条，一块，一片，一段，等
He gave me a piece of information.

I earn much money. 我赚很多钱。

上节课讲了表示“很多”的 many 和 much，这节课讲表示“一些，一点儿，一部分”的 some 和 any，如何与可数名词和不可数名词的搭配。

some 和 any 都可以搭配可数名词和不可数名词，但是BUT！可数名词必须是复数形式，不能是单数。

我们没有鸡蛋。

We don't have any eggs.

egg(s) 鸡蛋，可数名词[C]

我们没有糖。

We don't have any sugar.

sugar 糖，砂糖。这里是表示砂糖这种物质，是不可数名词[U]。sugar 也可以作可数名词，是另外的义项。

count 数，数数，计算

可数名词可以与 a 或 an 连用，也有复数形式。不可数名词不可以与 a 或 an 连用，也没有复数形式。

我们知道一个名词是可数还是不可数，就知道是与 much 还是 many 搭配。

提问“有多少……？/ 有几个……？” 时，可数名词就用 how many 提问，不可数名词就用 how much 提问。

How many brothers and sisters do you have?

你有几个兄弟姐妹？（可数的）

brothers and sisters （亲）兄弟姐们

How much money do you have?

你有多少钱？（不可数的）

many 和 much 当“很多，许多”意思的时候，也是 many 用于搭配可数名词，much 用于搭配不可数名词。

可数：

I have many brothers and sisters.

我有很多兄弟姐们。

I have many clothes.

我有很多衣服。

<—> I don't have many clothes.

         我没有很多衣服。

There are many cars on the road.

路上车很多。

不可数：

much money 很多钱

earn much money 赚很多钱（earn 赚，挣）

I earn much money. 我赚很多钱。

<—> I don't earn much money. 我赚钱不多。

这节课开始我们讲讲可数名词与不可数名词。

可数名词 countable noun

例如：one dog, two dogs, twenty dogs

一只狗，两只狗，二十只狗

不可数名词 uncountable noun

例如：water, sadness, plastic

水，悲伤，塑料

countable noun（可数名词）可以与 a 或 an 连用，也有复数形式。

countable 可数的

count 动词，数，数数，计算

词尾 -able 可……的，能……的（加在某些动词后构成形容词，表示接受这些动词所表示行为的） 

noun 名词

uncountable 不可数的

词头 un- 不，无，反，非（可加在形容词、副词、动词和名词前，表示“否定”，“缺乏”或“相反”之意）

我们查字典时，名词后面会有大写的 C 或者 U，C就是countable noun（可数名词）的缩写，U表示是uncountable noun（不可数名词）的缩写，

来看两个可数名词的例句：

coat 大衣，外套（可数）

You should bring a coat.

你应该带件大衣。 

I have three winter coats.

我有三件冬天的大衣。

不可数名词就不能前面加 a 或 an 就是错的，也没有复数形式：

homework 家庭作业（不可数）

老师给我们留了作业。

×××  The teacher gave us a homework. [错错错]

—> The teacher gave us homework.

我们有很多作业。

××× We have lots of homeworks. [错错错]

—> We have lots of homework.

排到我们付款了，收银员通常会先问是否有积分卡。为了鼓励/奖励顾客经常过来购物，很多超市都有积分卡，或者叫会员卡、奖励卡，经常去就会有一些优惠或折扣。这种积分卡不同超市可能会有不同的名字（different stores often have their own names），会员卡，积分卡最通用/一般的叫法（general names）：
