[13:29] "I need some support around something that came up last week. I'm working with the energy of showing up as the woman/wife I would be if I had the man/husband I deeply desire. I got really frustrated and mad last week when my husband said some hurtful things. It made me want to lash out at him, but I didn't. I simply told him that what he said was mean and that it hurt my feelings. He did end up apologizing, but inside I was raging. How do I continue to stay in the energy of showing up as the woman with the husband I desire when things like that happen, when the frustration is so present?"

I am on cloud 9 right now following the Women’s Retreat this past weekend. There were so many amazing breakthroughs and moments that cannot be put into words. [9:03] "I'm starting a new business in music therapy. I have extensive training and blend the healing power of music with spirituality and mysticism. I feel so confident in my abilities and expertise. But what's holding me back is my family. My family is deeply religious and doesn't approve or agree with my spiritual approach. They think it's woo and that it's not a real job. I wish I didn't care, but I do. Any advice you have would be great."

[17:46] "I'm in a really tough work situation. I've been at my company for a decade and I've been instrumental in helping the company grow. Unfortunately, my boss is extremely toxic and it's not a safe work environment at all. I just can't seem to leave. Sometimes he's kind, but then will suddenly turn abusive. I can feel I want his approval when I do something really well and get disappointed when he doesn't notice me. Ugh, I hate even typing it. Any support would be really appreciated."

I'm back answering your question's today. I'll first be sharing my thoughts on overcoming quiet resentment in a relationship and how to move through this to become close again. Next, we'll explore how to find peace and solace in the growth you've accomplished, while not constantly be looking ahead to what you have to work on next.

[6:40] "I have so much resentment toward a close person in my life, but it's all unspoken. They can definitely feel it, but neither of us are saying anything. There's just been so many moments in the last year that have hurt me, but I really want to be close again. The more time goes by, the harder it feels."

[18:23] "I've been in this work for about three years and I've grown so much. I honestly feel like a different person. Sometimes, however, I feel like I'm always working on something and it can get tiring. Do you ever feel this way and any thoughts on how I can shift this?"

Navigating persistent emotional challenges and continuous personal struggles can is exhausting. Getting yourself to a place where you can truly feel all of your emotions is a necessity to fully process and overcome them.

When I acknowledge the anger, I feel shame because I believe my parents did their best based on their own upbringing. This makes it hard for me to fully experience the anger, which feels scary.
