Duologee? Duology? How is it pronounced? As that debate rages, we take a look at some great urban fantasy--This Savage Song and Our Dark Duet--by Victoria Schwab. Many pearls were clutched during this reading, but not as tightly as might be expected, because these books got us thinking about monsters and evil and darkness, and we're almost always partial to any book that gets the mind thinking.

Three authors didn't, and they imagined quite an alternative take on what really went down, magic included.

This isn't the first time we're debating the correct pronunciation of "dystology," nor is it the first we're discussing a series by the incomparable Neal Shusterman. Even though we're clutching bunches of pearls for this series, we're still glad to give bunches of credit to Shusterman and his knack for writing books that make us think. One of the biggest things reading is all about!

The Greatest Showman got a lot of things right, especially for a movie musical. Bright colors, flashy dance numbers, catchy songs, except, we're looking past all the colored lights to figure out what the story's about, if there even is one...

Something Rotten is the honored nominee of ten Tony Awards and celebrated loser of nine! But don't let such numbers fool you, this musical is in many ways a tongue-in-cheek ode to musicals, and certainly deserved every standing ovation it got!
