Now there is a question that we tend to not think about. When this emotion emerges, we tend to feel rather than think. Anger is a normal emotion that we tend to suppress. Joining the Pod Squad on this episode are Christy Nitkowski a Mental Health Intern in the Student Health Center, and Anusha Sharangpani a fellow Student Wellness Ambassador, as they give their insights on the discussion about anger.

This week's episode focuses on depression. With the help of Julie Navarro, a Mental Health Counselor at Ohlone, the PodSquad zooms in to better understand what depression really is and also explore ways to manage it.

As we approach midterms, there is a lot of pressure building up in our lives. This could come from expectations of ourselves and/or others. Joining the PodSquad in this episode we have two guests: Setara - one of our Mental Health Navigators, and Mauna - one of our Mental Health Interns, both here to provide input on how to handle expectations of yourself and from others.

In this episode, the PodSquad is joined by Robert Moore, the COVID-19 Response Project Manager of Ohlone college. Together, the PodSquad and Mr. Moore discuss numerous facts and information about the COVID-19 vaccines and also the Ohlone Vaccine Mandate recently put in effect.

In this kick-off episode for the 2021-22 school year, the PodSquad welcomes Samuel, a former Ambassador, to lead a discussion on developing one's own professional and academic relationships. We can all take steps to improve our professional standing regardless or our experience level, and the Ambassadors take a look at how this plays into our mental health.

Welcome to a new year at Ohlone College! Today, we get to meet some of the new Student Wellness Ambassadors at STEP Up for the 2021-2022 school year. Hosting this episode is Soliyana, the first deaf student at STEP Up. Joining her today are Mariel, Brian, and Quang, and they are here to represent the rest of the cohort and continue or work on normalizing conversations around mental health.
