Oklahoma State RB Caleb Hawkins appeared on Big 12 Today to discuss his transfer from North Texas to Oklahoma State. Hawkins explained that Oklahoma State was the perfect fit due to his Oklahoma roots.

He shared that growing up, he was inspired by several running backs, with Marshawn Lynch being his favorite. Hawkins also praised the legacy of Oklahoma State greats like Barry Sanders.

He highlighted the positive relationships he has with both Drew Mestemaker and Eric Morris, noting that their decision to join Oklahoma State made his transition smoother. Additionally, Hawkins mentioned that he also played basketball while growing up.
