Suspense Radio Shows was a CBS radio series that aired from 1942 to 1962.
Suspense was dubbed "radio's outstanding theater of thrills" and was one of the great radio programs of the Golden Age of Radio. Leading Hollywood actors of the time starred in suspense films.
PLOT
"In Trembling and Fear." She decides to take action first because she is convinced that her husband and his lover want to kill her. Verna Felton, Mary Astor, and Joseph Kearns ("The Man In Black") , + The grey stone mansion, battered by decades of storms, stands at the edge of the cliff overlooking the sea. Gilbert Durant moved his wife Lucia into this mansion four years ago, and they were content there up until a year ago, when Lucia's half-sister moved in. Then, something started to happen gradually. Lucia detected it; she sensed that some sneaky horror was eating away at her joy. She noticed Gilbert's ardor starting to wane and his focus shifting to other things.
