HFPA journalist Silvia Bizio met director-writer-producer Oliver Stone last month at his office in Los Angeles. In the middle of his busy day the Golden Globe winner and visionary looked back to the late 60s when he returned home from the Vietnam War, his studies at NYU Film School, and the trilogy of Vietnam War films that put him on the map (Platoon, Born on the 4th of July, and Heaven and Earth). He also talks about the history of America, working on JFK, his family, and the subjects of his recent projects.
