    FROM COFFEE TO CHRISTMAS
Entrepreneurs/co-founders of GoCoffeeGo.com, Scott Pritikin and Elise Papazian are passionate coffee connoisseurs with diverse backgrounds in the entertainment industry and real estate. They saw a need for a fun-spirited, informative website that makes coffee easy for the public to learn about and purchase. Initially spending several months secretly ordering coffee from specialty roasters around the country and brewing it every possible way, they selected the roasters they found to be consistently impressive, even zigzagging across the US to sit down and talk with what they refer to as "the Indiana Joneses of the coffee world." Often they would try to set up a meeting to find the buyers were in Ethiopia in the Sidamo Mountains, or hangin out on some volcano in Sumatra, deep in negotiations with farmers.
The user-friendly website, http://www.gocoffeego.com, features a colorful design and a wonderfully diverse musical soundtrack, with guidance by "Professor Peabody." This is THE site for true coffee lovers everywhere.
Sandra Espinet's work has been celebrated in interior design books such as “Houses by the Sea” and magazines including ASID’s Icon, Signature Kitchens & Baths, Array, Home Accents Today, and Cabo Living. Sandra is also a regular guest on Living Today with Mario Bosquez on Martha Stewart Living Radio. Sandra made her national television debut in 2009 with HGTV’s Celebrity Holiday Homes. • HEALING HEART TO SOUL: DR PETER RAPPA
One Doctor's Journey of Health, Healing, and Life
Experiencing and refusing to let go of negative emotions, whether caused by us or inflicted by others, can weigh heavy on our shoulders. Often this disease of the human spirit causes disease in the human body.
Peter J. Rappa, MD, explores the intricate connection between the soul and the body in his new book 'Healing Heart to Soul: One Doctor’s Journey of Health, Healing, and Life'. In this unique collection of medical narratives, Dr. Rappa reaches beyond antibiotics and physical therapy, recognizing the need for medicine to dig deeper for answers. By watching and learning from his rehabilitation patients, Dr. Rappa discovered the power gained from cleansing the heart in order to heal the body. He calls the process healing from the inside out.
Dr. Rappa's book gives readers insight into the very personal stories of individuals struggling to overcome disease and injury. Their journeys are heroic, uplifting, and true testaments to the role spiritual growth and self-reliance can play in healing. Dr. Rappa power principles as practical steps to jump-starting the process of becoming emotionally aware and ultimately transforming physical health.
As a rehabilitation physician with a special interest in brain injury, Dr. Rappa began to see the connections and implications of mind, body, spirit, and health in 1998. Healing Heart to Soul recounts experiences he has had with these entities as a health care professional. Healing Heart to Soul is available online and at bookstores everywhere. For more information visit http://www.healinghearttosoul.com.
**SPECIAL BONUS: Three live listeners will have the opportunity to receive a free copy of the book.

  • DAVE CARROLL
    UNITED WE (take a) STAND!
Not only was Dave Carroll's precious Taylor guitar broken last year during a United Airlines flight (witnesses saw careless baggage handlers toss it), but follow-up calls and emails to UA offered no major apology or compensation for the $1,200 he subsequently paid in repairs. Instead, they essentially told him, "sh*t happens!" Wrong call. To take a stand and right the wrong, Dave immortalized the saga in a YouTube / iTunes music video titled "United Breaks Guitars" this past summer. He promised it was the first song in a trilogy, and released the 2nd video in October, an even more complex undertaking, with nearly 100 extras, multiple props, including broken and unbroken guitars, a limousine and a “genuine imitation space capsule.”
Dave will visit with us tonight to tell us about the whole saga, updates to the story, and how it has changed his life by putting him in the limelight.
You can see his two videos at the bottom of my profile page: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/olivia
