Reading from the book I co-wrote with Tapio Lehtinen "On a Belt of Foaming Seas," about his 2018 Golden Globe Race campaign. In this chapter, Tapio is sailing alone in the Southern Ocean trying to get past the islands and shoals south of New Zealand during a gale.
