After giving (or interviewing) 250+ in-person/virtual talks, I still cringe when I rewatch myself. This June's Expert talk I gave was no different.
The amount of "so's", "um's", and "obviously's" ๐คข๐คฎ
Yet the content (meat of the talk) is still ๐ฅ
The session was titled, "How to build a personal brand without being performative." Something I (humbly) think I've done well.
It revolves around two simple concepts:
(1) Thought/Content Center of Gravity
(2) Physical/Mental Availability
And how to use those two things to be thought of for the opportunities you want.
I hope you enjoy the episode :)

What if almost everything you were told about marketing was...false.
Bob believes that
And he doesn't just point out why it's wrong. He provides better ways forward.
This was one of those books I wish I had read earlier
But better late than never
I hope you enjoy the review :)

Meet Inรชs ๐
She's the Head of B2B Growth at Sword Health
She's the second person I've interviewed on my (Frodo-like) quest to understand and master Growth. Why's that?
I believe the best future marketers will have a deep expertise in growth
(even though Davide said he never hires marketers for growth roles on our last episode ๐ )
That's why I was excited to chat to her, and in the end, I found a damn good human.
In the episode, she shares:
- Why growth's job is to transfer enthusiasm
- Sword's recent campaign that did that
- And why the goal of life is to help others
I hope you enjoy the episode :)
