It’s out with the old and in with the new...yes, Sharpay said it best. Of course the last episode of 2025 is all about what’s coming with us into 2026 and what’s staying back in 2025… like typing in lowercase, which really should not have even entered 2023, but I digress.

So what’s in for 2026? Fast-forming friendships, intentional spending, and therapy...even on your good days. And what’s out? Mistaking standards for walls, keeping chapters open that should’ve been closed, and pretending we don’t know better by now.

In your 20s, you will be faced with the comparison trap, where you think you’re behind, success-shame yourself, and feel like everyone else is living these perfectly put together lives. It’s important not to believe that.

On this episode of OTBS, we’re talking about the comparison trap of your 20s… the one where you scroll for five minutes and suddenly feel behind in life, under accomplished, and convinced that everyone else’s life is going great…because it’s easy to assume that.

 Someone posts a single photo, an engagement announcement, a job update, or a perfectly curated highlight reel, and we automatically think everything is easy and going right for them. When in reality, that snapshot is about 0.00001157% of their actual day (yeah… your girl can math).

Your 20s are meant for finding yourself, and honestly, throwing societal standards out the window. Because if you looked at my life from a “traditional” standpoint, I’d probably be considered failing. I don’t have a 9-5, I don’t have a boyfriend, and I don’t have a million dollars in savings, yet I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.

So let’s chat. Because happiness looks different for everyone, which means success does too.

I MOVED!!!! I can’t believe I’m HERE?!

On this episode of On the Bright Side, I did the scariest thing I’ve ever done: packed up my life, drove 16 hours, and moved to Charleston, South Carolina...knowing next to no one. ( and I don’ think anyone thought I would go through with this…me included)

Not too long ago, I was the girl whose anxiety dictated everything, throwing up from stress, panic attacks on repeat, fight-or-flight mode daily, barely able to eat when change came near. And now? I’m here. Living proof that your anxiety doesn’t have to be bigger than your dreams.

This episode is for anyone who’s ever thought, “My anxiety is too big for the life I want.” I promise…it’s not. A year ago, I believed the same thing, and I’m sharing exactly how I proved myself wrong.

Healing doesn’t come with an expiration date, and there’s no timeline for feeling what you need to feel.
