Overpass was different gravy in the Neville Longbottom Stakes, an arrogant win. While there were some interesting results in other states, Military Mission was far too good in the Zipping Classic, while Zoustyle was back in the winners circle in Brisbane.

3 weekends in a row where leading on the fence was the place to be, which makes Magic Time's win in the Sir Rupert Clarke even more impressive! Joleistar was a solid winner in the Thousand Guineas, while Coal Crusher brained them in the Hunter. We discuss it all, and more in this week's review podcast.

Derby Day 2.0 i.e. Champions Day. We learnt that a Southerly wind at Flemington is absolutely an advantage to be on speed/fence. We're slow learners though. Pride of Jenni puts egg on our face AGAIN, but that Empire Rose form is seriously good. Sydney racing needs to reconsider things, the pace in these races is not good enough.

A week is a long time in horse racing, at least that's what we're hoping after last week's shitshow on Derby Day. It's Champion's Day at Flemington, and we see some of the best thoroughbreds in Australia battle it out in 3 weight for age grand finals. Will Imperatriz brain them down the straight, or will In Secret have her number? Will Mr Brightside follow up his outstanding run in the Cox Plate, or will Alligator Blood and Fangirl be the champion miler? Can Zaaki with his 3rd Champion's Stakes in a row, or will the most elite form in the country stand up with West Wind Blows? We discuss all of this, can some Sydney races as well.
