Welcome to our first "Learning On the Edge" episode where your cohosts, Nita and Sylvia, share their expertise on human-centred design and its application towards Social Innovation.

In this episode, we share our learnings and personal experiences around Empathy and use of the design tool, the Empathy Map, towards humanizing healthcare experiences. This episode also provides a brief recap of "On the Edge with SIC" Episodes 1 to 4 through an Empathy Lens.

The mission of What’s neXT?! is to empower Transitioners to create and execute a personalized Longevity Playbook, so that they may lead engaged and purposeful lives into their next act." 

Our conversation dives deep into Mehbs' personal transition story and the insights that his team has gathered from a global community of fellow Transitioners. The What's neXT?! community aims to codesign a sense of purpose together with Transitioners, which includes embracing diversity, experimentation and prototyping.

"Let's all together normalize and reframe menopause" - Teresa Isabel Dias 

In this episode, three generations of women (Millennial, Generation X and Boomer) talk about menopause, a hot health topic that's finally being highlighted in the mainstream media. 

Your cohosts interview Teresa Isabel Dias, menopause expert and founder of MenopausED, an organization that offers one-on-one consultations for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause to help them navigate the menopause transition using a holistic approach. Teresa also provides educational "lunch and learn" sessions in the workplace. Teresa is an advocate for education and societal change towards normalization of menopause. In our view, Teresa is on the cutting edge of social innovation!
