February 04, 2025Teachers On WheelsKnowing how to read is something many of us take for granted... but Newfoundland and Labrador has one of the lowest adult literacy rates in the country. It's something a non-profit called Teachers on Wheels is looking to change. The charity says it has a wait list and needs volunteer tutors to help them out, so they are holding a day-long tutor-training workshop this Saturday, February 8th.
