Welcome or welcome back to once in a millennial, a show hosted by four—wait for it—millennials. Yeah, shocking, we know.
Today's episode is a short one, but an important one at that. This letter is not just a message for our fellow Twin Cities citizens, but for all who are resisting and fighting back against thugs and tyranny in this or any other country.
Fear.
Fear can make us do some really stupid things. It can cripple. It can damage. It can break. It wants us to forget our humanity.
But we are not defined by what we fear. We are instead defined by what we do with that fear and what we turn it into.
Let it motivate you. Let it guide you. Let it propel you forward. And if it makes you angry, then you have every right to be angry.
If you are scared today, that doesn’t mean you are weak. And courage doesn’t mean the fear disappears—it means we refuse to let fear be the only thing in the room.
We hold onto hope not the naive kind, but the kind forged in long winters and longer fights. We know how to love across lines meant to divide us. And we are still here.
And fear—no matter how loud—does not get the final word.
As always, thank you for tuning in and spending your time with us. Love each other. Protect each other. Stand up for those who cannot. We will get through this. Together.
