In this episode, I discuss the challenges I faced in the past 5 months that includes illness, surgeries, family loss and employment changes. I went through a lot of ups and downs during that time, and even though I did not practice healthy OMAD and fell short on my regular workout schedule, I learned from what I went through and have come out the other end with a better understanding on how to handle negative thinking, and adapt to challenges and unforeseen circumstances. Lessons I learned include: not all weight loss is good weight loss, picking your battles, replacing unhealthy behavior with a healthier one, rolling with the punches and taking my time.
In this episode, I discuss how I have been struggling to continue keeping up with my weight lifting goals. I had been skipping the gym, and could not find the motivation to continue with the weight lifting routine that I had set for myself. Then, an unexpected person came to my rescue; my husband. He made a suggestion that worked like a charm, and now, I have newfound energy to continue with my workouts. If you’re having a hard time finding the motivation to continue with your exercises, try using visual reminders or visual aids to help you find new inspiration in your fitness journey.
