She outlines how we can inadvertently find ourselves feeling less than happy because we forget to give attention to the happiness that does exist in our lives. We often unconsciously lead ourselves to believe that happiness can only be found in things, in places that our outside ourselves or in the future and we set about seeking happiness in those places but not finding it. Ironically, owing to the preoccupation with seeking we lose sight of the fact that happiness is often growing right under our nose! Catherine believes that happiness is a habit and we can form that habit by noticing what you want, what will make you happy, what is your way and what you already have.
