This week on the pod, we dive into recovery; for our minds and our bodies. Sometimes rest looks like sleep, cold plunging, red light, and sauna, but we've also discovered that the best recovery is figuring out what your mind needs too. In our case this is oftentimes more running. We don't have it all figured out, but we're learning every day. We did it! The Nashville Half is in the books—and wow, those hills did not come to play . From perfect weather to great vibes, we share our race day highs (and climbs), what we learned about fueling and hill training, and all the moments that made this one unforgettable. It's fall race season! We're gearing up for two half marathons in two weekends- the Nashville Half and the Natchez Trace Trail Run- with the Chattanooga Marathon on the horizon, bringing us one step closer to our first ultra. We talk about local races, future goals, and races we've tried and loved. Patrick's smooth voice makes an appearance (along with plenty of typos on our race list).
