  • Vaccine Free and Healthy & Common Hydration Mistakes #1055

    Vaccine Free & Healthy
    Cyndi O'Meara joins us to talk about how she has never been vaccinated. The topic of vaccines is everywhere, all over the news, all over social media, and it seems to be a very political and emotional subject. Today's show simply is not like that and is a very open discussion about Cyndi's own life story being vaccine free. Cyndi has never even taken an antibiotic or a painkiller, believe it or not. She also passed this along to her children, who are vaccine free. Cyndi contributed to the book, Vaccine Free and wrote the foreword.

    You might remember Cyndi from a few weeks ago on this episode when she spoke about her documentary "What's With Wheat." The film is about how today's wheat is different than before, its dangers, and why there is such a rise in 'gluten-free.' You can download the film right here and part of the proceeds will go to save the bees!

    Common Hydration Mistakes
    Jill Lane is in studio to talk to us about some of the common mistakes with hydration. Staying hydrated, as simple as it sounds, can be challenging. We can get busy with our day-to-day routine of drinking coffee and soda, or just flat out not drinking anything at all. This all leads to dehydration, which is no little thing. First of all, dehydration effects every function in your body. As a result, when we are not hydrated well there will be many consequences from it. Jill gives us the signs of dehydration as well as how to spot when you are properly hydrated. She also talks about the biggest contributors to dehydration and how to get back on track when you fall short.

  • Home Remedies, Meditation, and Toxic Black Mold #1054

    Our earth mama, Autumn Connolly joins us today. She is self-taught on basically all things health and also a meditation expert and yoga teacher. She's an animal and nature lover on top of all of that. She's basically AH-mazing. Today we talk about home remedies for anything you can imagine; whether it's for your children, pets, or yourself. Going to the doctor and using antibiotics should really only be done in certain cases.

    The simplicity of using things that nature has already provided for us has gone away. We turn to doctors, vets, or pediatricians to tell us how to care for illnesses, infections, etc., when really we have all we need right at home or the grocery store. Autumn tells us some ways you can use honey, going beyond just adding it to your cup of tea. At home remedies make life so much easier, so why not at least try before going to see a doctor?

    Autumn also sings us some meditation chants today. Meditation is a huge piece of the puzzle if you are striving for optimum mental, emotional, and physical health. Meditation also looks extremely different for each person. It could be sitting outside, closing your eyes and getting out of your head, or it could be a chant like Autumn does today (which is absolutely beautiful, by the way.)

    Kelsey Ward is a Clairvoyant Medium who is known for helping her clients find their true purpose and peace. Kelsey has dealt with a myriad of health issues including cancer and a debilitating autoimmune disease called CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome), which she developed from living in toxic mold for five years. Today she joins us to talk about her story of living in toxic mold and how she recovered.

    We wanted to have some fun with today's episode, and talk a little bit about everything. Topics of conversation that came up include: millennial's and friendships, animal testing, real salt, bad advertising, marriage and gender roles, loneliness, and lots more.

    Bernadette, Aviana, and Shawn are all in on this conversation and its real, raw, and unscripted. Definitely don't miss this episode...because there's a nice treat at the end involving a Didgeridoo ;)

  • Marriage and Relationships with Dr. Talley and Von Eaglin #1052

    A marriage checklist may sound tedious, but it may be the saving grace in finding the right partner. Today Dr. Forrest Talley talks about a checklist he put together that he believes is great to go through before marrying someone. When you jump the gun on a person you think you are in love with, you may turn a blind eye to some deal breakers further down the road. Marriage and relationships should be evaluated thoroughly because it could potentially be your life partner. His top 9 qualities on his checklist are:

    * Confidence
    * Generosity
    * Humility
    * Loyalty
    * Honesty
    * Humor
    * Forgiveness
    * Duty
    * Courage

    This list are qualities in a person that will help you navigate through a marriage. Whether or not someone is capable of obtaining all of these qualities, is still up for discussion.

    Von Eaglin and his wife join us today as well. We piggy back on this topic to talk about falling in love with relationship potential. This is essentially falling in love with the idea of a person because you are seeking that relationship. When we focus our eyes on the future and what could be, sometimes we miss what's in front of us at that moment. Relationships are like that and can easily be failed marriages because of it. Von talks with us about how to get over relationship potential.

    * Dr. Forrest Talley is a clinical psychologist who has been helping adults, teens and children for over 30 years.
    * Von Eaglin is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and works with two group practices in the Dallas area.

  • How to Stay in Shape, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy Data #1051

    Last week Daniel Tague covered how to get in shape, and today we are covering how to stay in shape. Getting into shape and keeping up with it are two very different obstacles. When we want to get into shape, we know the end goal is to either lose weight, or build muscle mass, etc. But keeping that shape, there really isn't much change to expect and you just have to keep pushing on with your health plan. Exercise and diet both weigh differently on how they will effect your body. It all really comes down to what you are feeding your body that will give you the biggest results.

    Cheat days are expected, but Daniel explains with us today how much you should stray from your routine. When we get in the habit of cheat days, they become more and more of a percentage of our days. And it will start to show in the way you feel, look, and perform. Staying in shape and keeping up with the consistency is very difficult, but it is possible. Daniel gives us some tips on how to keep it up and finish 2019 feeling and looking your best.

    Dr. Dan Engle is doing a series with us on psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, and today we talk about the data. He tells us which psychedelics are showing the most popularity, how they are being used, and what we can expect in the future.

There are some deep fears that stem from his departure that are causing his depression. We have outlined his entire treatment plan in our newsletter, you can sign up on our homepage.
    Robin Perry Braun - Energy Medicine Explained
    Robin Perry Braun is a holistic energy practitioner. She has studied the impact of energy and how emotional trauma can cause other health ailments. We store energy from every positive and negative experience we go through in life. When someone endures enough negative energy and trauma, they may manifest that into illness or disease. That is why our mental, emotional, and spiritual health are equally as important as our physical health. When we cater to all aspects of our body including our mind and emotions, we can ultimately reach full healing. Robin gives us the explanation on how our body, mind, and spirit are all connected and how energy medicine works.

  • Keto For Cancer, Vaccinated Vs. Unvaccinated #1049

    Ketogenic Diet
    Miriam Kalamian has a heart wrenching testimony. Her adopted son was diagnosed with a large brain tumor at the age of four. She began the Ketogenic diet along with chemotherapy and saw amazing results. Eventually they were doing the diet alone for 3 years and the tumor was stable. Miriam's son died at the age of 13, not from the tumor, but from complications from a cyst on his brain. The doctors were hesitant of the diet alone, but the the data was right in front of them. Chemo alone was not going to cut it, the Ketogenic diet gave Raffi more time.

    Miriam studied this diet for cancer therapies from that point forward, and wrote her book "Keto for Cancer: Ketogenic Metabolic Therapy as a Targeted Nutritional Strategy." Today Miriam joins us to talk about some of the modifications that may need to be made to the diet for different circumstances. People who are older, who are fighting cancer, or those with pre-existing conditions may need modifications. If you are adopting a Ketogenic diet for whatever reason, this is a great episode for you.
    Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated
    There's no ethical way to measure the healthiness of a child who's vaccinated and one who is not, so there is no scientific data. But, many practitioners and parents of both have spoken out and claim that unvaccinated children are normally healthier. The rates of children with asthma, allergies, eczema, ADHD, and autism are always higher in vaccinated children. Look at this graph below:

    Jackie Schlegel is the founder of the group, Texans for Vaccine Choice. She herself has a vaccine injured child which was the catalyst to create this group and protect parents right to choose. We accept calls today and personal testimonies of how children are either vaccinated or not and what their health is like. The topic of vaccines is such a controversial one so today we keep it neutral and open-minded. Our main goal is to inform and keep parents in charge of their children's health.

  • Childhood Vaccines and Pertussis, How to Get in Shape #1046
    Credit: Getty Images

    We have been covering chapter by chapter of Neil Z. Miller's book, Miller's Review of Critical Vaccine Studies, for the last couple of months with Neil. He has taken us through the current vaccine schedule, mercury, and aluminum. Today we are talking specifically about Pertussis, or the more commonly used name, Whooping Cough. Pertussis, or Whooping Cough, is a bacterial infection that causes a severe cough that has a whooping sound, along with cold and flu like symptoms. It can be fatal in very young infants. Today Neil talks with us specifically about the efficacy of the DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis) vaccine along with the risks.

    Jackie Schlegel is the founder of Texans for Vaccine Choice. Her daughter was injured at the age of 4 months old after her routine well visit where her daughter received 8 vaccines. The symptoms she witnessed, including brain swelling and seizures, all line up with possible risks of the pertussis vaccine. Jackie's daughter was permanently handicapped and never able to live a "normal" life from that point forward.

    This is such a heavy but important topic to be able to speak about. Neil's book summarizes over 400 published scientific studies, so all the information is factual. Whether you choose to vaccinate or not, you must do your research and be able to find the truth.

    Daniel Tague joins us for Workout Wednesday and we are talking about how to get in shape. There is a key to getting in shape and Daniel gives us exactly what that is in this episode.
