Twenty-five years later, September 11, 2001 remains a day none of us will ever forget.

In this special episode of One More & I’m Outta Here, we take a look back at the 9/11 attacks—not just through the tragedy, but through some of the incredible stories of courage, sacrifice and compassion that followed.

We talk about Paul Veneto, the retired flight attendant who is honoring the passengers and crews of the four hijacked flights by pushing an airline beverage cart more than 1,000 miles from Boston to New York. Talk about dedication—you'd think somebody would have let the guy upgrade to a motorized cart by now!

We also remember the people of Gander, Newfoundland, who opened their homes, schools and hearts to thousands of stranded airline passengers after the attacks. Their kindness became one of the most remarkable stories to emerge from September 11.

And then we get into the controversy surrounding this year's New York City memorial ceremony, including the debate over whether Mayor Zohran Mamdani should attend. Emotions surrounding 9/11 remain incredibly strong, and we'll talk about the reactions without losing sight of what the day is really about.

It's a serious topic, but that's what we do here—have the conversation, tell the stories, remember the people, and maybe crack a joke or two along the way.
