I won't claim that you can always manage expectations so others don't let you down, and I certainly won't tell you that you can make it so no one hangs you out to dry ever again. But, I can give you some great tips on how to make it happen a lot less.

Life is interesting in that our branes are built such that they want to always find the easiest ways to do things. This helps, but it can also go too far if you let it. Each person needs to make the effort to not become complacent. Only by intentionally choosing how to live your life can you avoid falling into non-productive patterns.

My thoughts on making sure we take the time to accomplish our goals. Family time at the end of last year. And one essential task to accomplish our new years' goals.

If you want to prepare for setting new years' goals that will actually stick this year, creating a personal mission statement is a great place to start. You will be less random, and more focused on the goals you choose to create. It is also far easier to keep the goals because they will be advancing yourself towards who you want to be based on your mission statement.

Life is hard enough without being pointed in the wrong direction. Or work, having that direction bounce around like a beachball in a crowd of 10-year-old boys on a sugar high. Knowing what you want your life to be like at the end of your life is the best way to focus your direction and energy. In this episode, I give you a great guide on how to start doing this amazing practice. - Free worksheet included.
