  • How To Increase Your Influence As A Leader

Tell me, how hard would you be willing to work if you knew that mastering ONE skill would exponentially positively transform your life or business?

If you're ready to 2x 5x or 10x your results, then hang tight because, in this week's episode of the Online Business Clinic, you'll discover five success strategies that you can use right now to create lifestyle and financial freedom. Aka builds True Wealth.

    Influential Leadership

Think of one influential standout leader that you look to regularly. Then ask yourself, 'what characteristics or qualities do they have that make them so magnetic?'

Now shift gears, and think of someone in your life that you do NOT look up to; perhaps this individual is always sick, or they're financially broke or pessimistic, and you don't enjoy being around them.

And ask yourself, what is the one core difference between these two individuals?

Hint, it's not their money, their power, their status. It's not their home, their car.

It's their personal belief about who they are.

That is the difference between someone who is, have not.

The influencers you admire most likely have a strong sense of self-love and a sense of certainty about who they are and what they want from life.

Any person in this world can have, do or be whatever it is they desire, but it first starts with their ability to believe in themselves.

And when you can believe in yourself, you will then develop the solutions and strategies to go after or connect with the right people to help you get those things you desire.

If you're truly striving to increase your ability to influence others, to become an influential leader in life in business, it first starts by looking within.

    Want help building self-confidence?

    "DISCOVER THE BEAUTY WITHIN."

    How to motivate others?

The simple answer. Understand their why.

Our human nature is to take action to either increase our pleasure or to avoid pain.

If you want to influence others, follow you, buy your program, or invest in your services, you must first be influenced.

You must first be moved before you can motivate. You must know your own intrinsic why for wanting to have, do, or be something more.

The more you study yourself, the better you'll understand others.

From an early age, we are taught, "if I do THIS, THEN I'll get ..."

Your prospective buyers, followers, clients, or community members are no different.

If I do this, then I'll get this result.

To successfully motivate others, you must be able to paint the picture of a possibility for them. The better the picture you can paint, the more likely they will want to take that journey with you now; how do we convince them that you're someone worth following? Well, here are my five power moves.

    What are Global beliefs?

Global beliefs are generalizations we make about things, circumstances, and people.

Our brains need category 'buckets' for information to fit in.

On an individual level, we make generalizations and assumptions about ourselves using words like..."I, I am, is, are, etc."

    I am strong.

    Money is God in motion.

Geting new clients is easy and fun.

These core identifiers that we use to frame our perception of reality.

It doesn't matter who you are, what age you are, where in the world you are tuning in from; you have global beliefs.

And when you can first understand your beliefs, you will more likely be able to understand others.

When you're in a conversation with a prospect and share something like...

"I believe that all coaches are full of crap."

As a coach your knee-jerk reaction would be to disagree with them.

But if you want to influence them, you must agree with them first.

NOTE: I'm not saying that you abandon your belief.

If your global belief is that coaches are fantastic and necessary to help one take their life and business to the next level.

You identify that the word "coach" is a negative trigger in their mind. Please don't waste your time trying to change theirs. Instead, agree with them that you believe that they believe "coaches are full of crap." Then follow it up with your truth.

You could say along the lines of, "I agree that you believe most coaches are full of crap, but actually, I don't fully identify as a coach. I see myself as a life and business success strategist. I'm not about fluffing you up or motivating you to take action. I'm all about giving you proven step-by-step strategies to get you from where you are to where you want to go."

Know what it is you believe in, and stick by it. But also be willing to accept your prospect where they are and then influence them through the power of positive persuasion. Not by fighting against what your prospect new client believes but rather by reenforcing what it is they desire.

For me, Molly Ann, I'm all about helping you build true wealth. Online learning is a soon-to-be $325 billion industry. Together we figure out what your monetizable expertise is. Then I teach you how to get paid to leverage online by creating a high-level group coaching program and self-published book so that you can build towards creating lifestyle and financial freedom.

    How to 10x your worth

To be an influential leader, you MUST know your worth.

It's not enough to know what you're financial worth. Your paycheck does NOT determine your worth.

Knowing how much you earned at your corporate gig last year is great, but it doesn't define who you are or what you're capable of offering.

Instead, a sense of certainty is critical.

Be certain about yourself. Be certain about your ability to lead. Be certain about your ability to create value. That certainty will transfer to others, and they will be more likely to want to buy into your product, service or idea.

But again, this power move starts from within.

How To Get People To Buy

To get more people to buy, you must understand their perspective.

We don't just buy into something because we think it'll benefit us as the I, as the individual.

Before we buy, we think about other people.

    We internally ask ourselves:

How will this purchase benefit me?

How will this purchase affect others?

What will people think of me if I say yes to this offer?

When you can understand that most people think like this, we don't just think of ourselves but also what others believe.

Then you want to make sure that whatever you're trying to influence another person to buy your product, buy your service, buy into your idea, think about how it will affect their perception for themselves. And more importantly, for their inner circle.

The better the picture of possibility you can paint, the more likely you'll influence them to take action.

How To Get Someone To Take Action

When you are trying to influence someone to take action, you can increase your influence by adding an element of scarcity. Give them a reason as to why they should take action NOW.

If there limited seats available or a number of items to be sold? Will the price go up? Is a bonus element going away?

FOMO (fear of missing out) is real. It's in our nature to not want to miss out.

What is it that might compel them to act now?

Authentically give them a reason as to why NOW is the time to say yes.

How To Take Your Influence To The Next Level

Iron sharpens iron. If you want to take your influence to the next level you must surround yourself with like-minded people striving to achieve more in life and business.

A legacy leader is someone willing to do the inner work to experience the lifestyle and financial freedom.

Legacy Leaders are heart-centered, freedom-focused individuals who sincerely desire to break through generational paradigms to live and leave a legacy and financial gain to their future generations to come.

They are doing it for their families, for their future generations to come because building an empire on your own is not as rewarding as you might think, but when you can create something that can be passed down to our children and children's children.

What's The Fastest Way To Failure

#1 Not knowing what it is you want from life.

#2 Holding onto limiting beliefs that are holding you back from achieving more.

3# Your inability to make decisions and manage your physical, mental and emotional state.

  • How To Influence People To Buy

Without sales, your business won't grow.

And (more importantly) without the skills to influence people to buy, you'll have no sales.

So if you're ready to skill up and have the power to influence others to take action, keep scrolling.

Below you'll discover precisely what you need to do to get people excited and wanting to buy into your idea, product, or service.

How To Be An Influential Leader

A scarce resource of today is, without a doubt, positive influential leaders.

People tend to think that influential leadership is meant only for government officials, corporate executives, or the social media influencer.

But, real influential leadership starts at home.

To become an influential leader, you must first understand that the power resides within. Decide that it's there and that you'll do whatever it takes to unleash it's power so that you can positively get people excited to want to take action. Watch this video for more. https://youtu.be/CjMdHW04sNg

    Why People Buy

As much as we'd like to pride ourselves on being rational, logical decision-makers, the truth of it is, is that we are emotional creatures.

People buy primarily based on how they feel. It's our human nature to makes decisions that drive us towards pleasure or away from pain.

We'd love to say that we make purchases solely on logic. However, we buy something more often than not because we want it, not because we need it -wanting what we think it can do for us.

If you're going to influence others to buy, you must first understand how your product or service will provide a solution in their life—leading them either towards pleasure or away from pain.

How Long Does It Take To Influence Someone To Buy?

How long it takes someone to buy depends on your ability to navigate them through these five checkpoints.

Checkpoint #1 - Identify The Core Problem

Help your prospective client articulate their core problem. Any great influential leader trying to help someone else take action understands that person individual's core problem.

And before you start trying to convince them to buy, you must identify if their core problem aligns with the product or service you would present to them. If not, then stop right here.

If your prospect's core problem does not align with your solution, they are not your client. Because as Legacy Leaders https://www.BecomeALegacyLeader.com , we're all about selling authentically.

We're not in the business of selling to the market. We are in the business of helping others solve problems.

If their core problem aligns with a solution you offer, you need to dig deeper to uncover what potential objections they might present.

Checkpoint #2 - Press On The Pain

Once you've qualified your prospect and discovered a few fundamental objections, now it's time to stir up the pain.

Wounds heal best in the open air. It's your job to act as the doctor and to remove the bandage.

Whether the pain is physical, mental, or emotional, you must rip off the bandage and expose the hurt.

People often walk around either ignoring or are utterly blind to their pain. But because they have this core problem that you, your product, your service, and your idea can solve, it's your job to press on the pain.

As a leader who influences people to buy, it is not your job to solve any problems during the discovery phase.

Checkpoint #3 - Push The Edge

Once you've identified their core problem, you've pressed on the pain; now it's your job to take the pain to the edge. Show them what the future will look like if they don't address this issue if they don't take action.

What you're trying to do here is you're trying to associate the amplified pleasure or the alleviation of the pain of their core problem with your product, your service, or your idea.

Paint that picture of inaction and what life will look like if they stay stuck, where they are ignoring the issue and doing nothing.

The is NOT the time to 'dress the wound' (solve the problem). This is the time job to remind them why they are hurting.

It sounds cruel, but it's a necessary part of healing. And vital to closing the sale.

Checkpoint #4 - Paint The Picture of Possibility

Identity, and reiterate the emotional reasons as to why they should take action now. Pivot and begin to paint the picture of possibility.

Use words like imagine, imagine in a year from now how much your life, your business, your bank account could transform.

Checkpoint #5 - Test The Close

When it comes time to ask for the sale, be sure to infuse a little scarcity.

For example, "Enrollment doors will be closing soon. or There's a discount, but it's only available for this specific time act now and gets a bonus."

When you can infuse an element of scarcity, it will increase the likelihood of wanting them to take the next step, pull out their credit cards, do business with you, or follow you. And to help you build out that bigger vision.

Use These 4 Tools of Influence

Now for the four must-have tools of influence:

#1 - Build Rapport - Rapport is when you can quickly and deeply connect with another individual, and you get them to say to themselves, "I like you."

There are many different tactics and strategies to get the job done when it comes to building rapport. Including, but not limited to, match on action, gift-giving, compliments, or even an insult (although I don't generally advise this).

Rapport is a power tool. And if you don't know how to master it, then stay close because it's a conversation we're going to be having in an upcoming episode. SUBSCRIBE TO THE ONLINE BUSINESS CLINIC NOW

#2 Open-Ended Questions: People love to talk about themselves. When you can ask open-ended questions that lead to your offer, this builds rapport and helps to influence them to conclude that doing business together is a good idea.

#3 - Be Congruent - Your thoughts, words, and body language need to be congruently pointing the prospect towards yes.

When you believe that the sale is a good fit, they'll believe in it too and will be more likely to buy.

#4 - State Management - To successfully influence people to buy, you must manage your state. Even if you're not feeling like presenting your offer at the moment, if a prospect's in front of you, you need to get yourself in a particular state to be a service, to be able to properly pitch that idea, product, or service to that prospect.

If you can manage your mental state and then transcends through your physical condition and then comes through in the way you present these, this will be one of those four must-have influential tools to convert prospects to buyers successfully.

We cover this in-depth inside of The Legacy Leaders Academy. To learn more click here.

Questions To Answer To Convert Prospects Into Buyers

Your prospective buyers are asking themselves questions internally. If you can provide the answers to these core questions throughout your sales presentation, you're 10x more likely to close the sale.

    What is this product?

    What's in it for me?

Can you prove that it'll help me?

Will it give me what I want or what I need?

If I do this, will it be worth it?

    Do I need this?

And finally...What will other people think of me or say about me?

And yes, that matters. People care. Even in their internal dialogue, they care about what their spouse thinks, their business partner feels, or what their children will think of them. So be sure that concern in your presentation.

    Your Success Exercise:

Now grab a pen and paper.

Think of three things that you have recently bought and then identify, is it something that I bought because I wanted it, or because I needed it.

Then think of three things that you thought you wanted to buy but didn't.

    Why didn't you?

What was it about the sales process about what the salesperson said or didn't say that stopped me from actually pulling out my debit cards or credit cards or cash and investing in that product service or idea.

It will take a little time to do this, but trust me, it's worth it.

Suppose you can sell yourself on that particular item by the end of the exercise. Doing so will make you much better of a salesperson.

You'll be a positive influential leader who can excite people and get them to take action, to follow your movement, to invest their time and energy into building out your idea or buying your product or service.

Now I'd love to hear from you. Please take a moment to drop a comment below and let us know one thing you took away from this article.

And remember, much of becoming an influential leader in selling is a mind game, so keep striving to master your mind and live your legacy.

  • How To Become A LEGENDARY LEADER

Are you ready to bust through barriers and get other people eager and excited to want to help you build out your vision? If so, hang tight because you will discover precisely what it takes to not only become an influential leader but also successfully convert prospects and get paying clients? If yes, then you’re in the right place.

Discover my 5 go-to strategies to becoming a LEGENDARY LEADER

Strategy #1 - The first thing you have to do to become an influential leader is to decide.

Now, I know that sounds overly simple, but hear me out. Okay. When it comes to being a legacy leader, what that means is that you have the power, first and foremost, within your mind to influence your thoughts, which then send to your feelings, which result in your actions, and your compounded steps lead to habits.

And those habits lead to results.

If there's something in your life that you want to change, it's not enough to say I want more money or want more love, or I want more influence, or I want more clients. It has to first come deep from within, into the inner workings of your mind, through the power of decision.

Now, the word decide itself means to cut off, meaning that once you have chosen, there is no wavering in your mind; this means that you will do whatever it takes to have, do, or be that thing that you desire for.

Much of the decision regarding your prospects or potential followers, the reason they are going to decide to want to follow you and allow you to take the lead comes down to the 80/20 rule.

80% is why, why YOU, why should we follow you?

And 20% then is the, how, how do we follow you?

The tactics, the strategies now, before someone else can understand why they should follow you, you have to first decide within yourself why you want to be an influential leader and why you should be someone to be followed.

Now, when it comes to making that decision, look at it from both ways.

    1. What are some of the external reasons you want more money in the bank account? Maybe it’s because...
    • You want to build a thriving online business with multiple streams of passive income.
    • You want to positively impact your family, your community, or your clients.
    • You want to create lasting generational wealth

All external reasons, all things that are outside of you essential, but not the most important.

If you genuinely can decide within yourself and become the influential leader, first and foremost, in your own life, with your thoughts, feelings, actions, habits, and results.

Then, you can take back your power and build out that business that you want to build up, that bank account that you want to build out, that family, community, and interconnections that you wish to.

You need to do some of the inner work and understand the internal, why or the intrinsic, why?

Tell me in the comments below..

“Why do YOU want to become an influential leader?”

In an upcoming episode, we'll worry about the HOW, but remember 80% of why people would follow you or why people would buy from you if you know why they would, you have to know first; it's the first rule of sales.

Be sure to SUBSCRIBE TO THE ONLINE BUSINESS CLINIC YOUTUBE CHANNEL so that you never miss an episode!

    Strategy #2 - Skill Up.

In order to become a legendary leader you need to be the type of person who isn’t afraid to skill up and who chooses to major in major things.

When you STEP UP  and become your boss in the online space, you need a lot of skills. But it’s important to know which skills to focus on and which ones to delegate. Doing so will push the needle forward in your life and business.

A legacy leader, a truly influential leader, is someone who permits himself to say, I don't know what I don't know, but I'm willing to learn. A legacy leader is someone who is a scholar who asks powerful questions and who isn’t afraid to seek the answer.

Tell me in the comments below...

What is one skill that you feel like if you were able to master it would double or triple your results, whether that's in life, in business, or your bank account?

Maybe it's improving your sales? Your marketing strategy? Your ability to lead?

If it’s leadership that you wish to strengthen then get instant access to The Legacy Leader’s S.O.P. program right now!

Strategy #3 Integrate - The most successful people in life in business are congruent, who can incorporate their thoughts, feelings, words, actions, and habits into achieving the result they desire.

Don't just be a hearer of the story, be someone willing to do the work recognize, first and foremost, what your inner mental game is. Suppose you're having a lot of negative, self-talk and a lot of negative chatter.

Start doing some inner exercises, whether speaking to a therapist or with your business coach, to get that right and tight first and foremost because if you're not congruent with what it is, you think what it is.

You're speaking, the actions you're taking. You won't get the results you want. So you can't just say, I want more sales or I want more clients. First and foremost, you have to fully believe that what you're offering, the service you were providing will make a difference.

And all of those beliefs first start inside of your mind.

When you can come from the right place of service in your mind, first, it's going to transfer across your sales presentations and your form of communication.

It will then eventually transpire into those things you want: more clients and more money in the bank account strategy.

Strategy #4 Achieve Mastery - “Repeat after me; repetition is the mother of mastery.”

Begin to think like a pro. Amateurs do what feels good in the moment. Pros do what's necessary.

Be someone who isn't afraid to put in the hard work upfront first, so that you can then sit back and become second nature. And you can welcome the abundance into your life.

Understand that no matter who you are or how old you are, just about everything in life is learnable.

    The 4-Phases of Learning.

The first phase of learning  is the unconscious incompetence. This is when you don't know what you don't know.

The second phase  is conscious incompetence. Meaning now you know that it exists, but you're still not able to do it.

Level three is conscious competence, meaning, you know, it exists, and you're kind of able to do it, or you're able to do it proficient enough.

And finally, there's unconscious competence, which is that level of mastery. And that is what you want to strive for essential things.

Remember that part major in crucial things, skill up in essential items, and then delegate the rest. Even if you cannot do something right now, permit yourself to understand that it's okay, that you one, you don't know what you don't know.

And then two, if you do know it and you're still not, not proficient in it, that's okay, too learning as a part of the process, there is not an age cap on your ability to learn.

If you choose to permit yourself to figure it out, you can get there. You can get to level three and level four quickly.

The willingness to overcome is what a legacy leader is all about, someone who is at least willing to get to that level of mastery so that they can radically transform their life, their business, and their bank account strategy.

  • How to Become an Influential Leader

Curious to know what it takes to bust through barriers and get other people eager and excited to help you build out your vision. Do you believe deep down you are capable of becoming an influential leader?

    Well,

A leader must influence others to achieve the company’s goals. They must as well gain the respect of their followers to influence them. Achieving this may not be easy, as you are to make the critical decisions of the organization. But, if you want to be an influential leader and get the respect of your followers, these simple strategies will help you, whether you’re a beginner leader or have been a leader for many years.

    Be a leader in training.

To become an influential leader, you have to invest in learning to grow your expertise. Do not stop where you are. Always be eager to learn from other leaders. Work on becoming great at what you’re already good at, and then scale up by learning more. As a leader, you need to know more than others. The more you know, the more help you can offer to your followers. Your followers will respect you by how competent you become and the effort you made to learn more.

    Put others first

The best leader is the one who puts the interest of others first. Know that you’re as good as them. Whenever you make personal sacrifices for those under you, they get to know you care about ‘us’ more than ‘me.’ You need to shift your energy from ‘me’ to ‘we.’ Say, ‘we need to get more clients,’ instead of’ I need to get more clients.’ ‘We need to close more sales;’ instead of ‘I need to close more sales.’ Focus on helping your followers get what they want. Put them in places that will help them grow and achieve their career goals.

When people enjoy the jobs they are doing and succeed in their careers, the organization benefits.

    Believe in yourself

To become an influential leader, you need to have confidence in your abilities and the abilities of others. Fall in love with yourself, your personality, and the perspectives that make you uniquely you. You don’t need the know-how or when to do it. Get things done. It starts with what you think of yourself. It’s about discovering what you value, what inspires you, what challenges you, and what gives you energy. When you find out these qualities about yourself, you’ll also lead those qualities out of others. Learn from your past mistakes and believe in yourself.

    Have mission and vision

People don’t just follow a leader; they follow his mission and vision as well. You need to possess an idea that other people will want to share and follow. As a leader of influence, you have to look ahead and see where you’re taking the company and your people. Having a vision will provide motivation and inspiration to keep going. Be result-oriented and have an eye for vision strong enough to carry you through the end.

    Final thoughts

Everyone can lead, but sometimes you don’t know-how. Invest in yourself and keep on learning, put others first, believe in yourself, and have a mission and vision to carry you through to the end.

  • How To Improve Cash Flow In Small Business

You’re finally making money in your business, and you’re ready to take things to the next level. You know that cash flow is the lifeblood of a healthy business, but if you’re entirely honest with yourself, you’re not exactly sure what you need to do to keep the money flowing consistently.

Hang in tight because in this online business clinic episode, the place to build a profitable business, we will share with you our smart strategies on how you can keep that cash flowing.

     Let’s dive in.

    1. Get a firm handle along with your cash flow investment.

Look at what is coming in and out of your business. You need to speed up the cash coming into your business and slow down the cash going out of your business. Have everything mapped out by writing down exactly what’s coming in from your customers.

Check-in with your customers to be sure they are going to be able to pay for that business. Make sure money is coming in as planned. Do the same for the cash going out of your business.

    1.   Have an accounting software tool to stay on track

You need to track your available cash and the expected inflow and outflow of cash in your business, but it can be time-consuming for you, especially if you’re a busy business owner.

We recommend online QuickBooks, as they are intuitive and easy to use. You’re able to access your data anywhere you have internet access. Get somebody to do it for you. It’s okay if you can do for yourself when you’re starting, but have somebody teach you to get the foundation right.

You can also seek the services of a bookkeeper or a CFO (Chief Financial Officer) to help you manage your finances and grow your business strategically.

    1.   Increase the price of goods or services

Reevaluate your goods and services’ pricing to check if you’re selling for too little or more.

It may be worrying about increasing the price of whatever goods or services you’re offering, and it may raise a concern about your sales suffering if you raise your price too much.

However, it would be best to test and find out what the market can bear, rather than having preconceived conclusions.

The value of a product or service rises when you increase the price. So, don’t be afraid to raise your prices. Take that chance, friend!

    1.   Offer a discount for early payments and penalties for late payments

Some customers will pay early if given incentives. For some customers, invoicing is a challenging process that may require some pull and push.

Implementing a discount and penalty program may make it easier for you and make your customers accountable. You may consider giving discounts to any accounts paid on time and add interest to any invoice that is ignored for too long.

This will encourage your clients to pay you early and on time, hence improving your cash flow.

    1.   Reduce expenses

Take a closer look at all the expenses incurred in your business. If you think an expense is unnecessary, hold back until you’re sure it will positively impact your business. If they are necessary, consider looking for cheaper alternatives to cut down on costs.

You can also look for ways to reduce your operating costs, such as making a biweekly or monthly payroll to reduce payroll processing costs. Be careful not to reduce costs that will hurt your profits.

    1.   Pay bills on time but never before they are due

Pay your bills on the required time to avoid interest charges. If your vendor offers a discount for paying early, be sure to do that to save some money.

Look at different ways to extend credit terms, and make plans to pay partial payments to make sure your cash flow is in good condition.

     Final thoughts

If your business is suffering from cash flow problems, you need to take an honest look at your business and how you’re running it. Consider understanding your cash flow statement, use accounting software tools, increase your prices, reduce expenses, and pay bills on time.

  • Increase Your Visibility + Website Traffic with Podcast Guesting

The ultimate guide to becoming a guest on someone’s podcast

Podcasting is a powerful (and free) marketing strategy to help you mega-boost your brand authority - FAST!

In fact it's my super-secret (top of marketing sale funnel technique) that has recently landed me an $81,000 contract. (Yes, you read that right).

Not only has podcasts become hugely popular in the last decade, with over 75 million listeners tuning in each day in the U.S. alone.

It's also one of my favorite media outlets because all you need is a smartphone, a headset, and something to say.

And after roughly a 20-60 minute interview, your voice is published straight to the ears of millions. How incredible is that?!

Guest podcasting helps you gain more exposure and quickly build the know, like trust factor with your prospective clients because you are literally in their ear, educating and inspiring them to strive for more.

Here are a few reasons why I think you should consider putting guest podcasting in your marketing mix:

    • You'll reach an entirely new and engaged audience.
    • You can quickly and easily build trust.
    • No fancy or expensive equipment necessary (bonus!)
    • No hair or make-up required to show up for the interview (double bonus!)
    • Once published, you can easily repurpose the interview for marketing material across other platforms for years and years to come.
    • New prospect clients joining your email list (aka potential money in the bank)

How To Get Booked As A Guest

A client of mine recently asked, "How do you know who will have you on their show?"

    The short answer.

You won't know if you don't ask.

Popular podcasts receive many pitches, so your pitch MUST stand out amongst the rest to receive a prompt response from the podcast producer.

Ways in which you can become a podcast guest:

    1. You can reach out to the podcast producer directly
    2. The podcast producer invites you to join the show
    3. A third party podcast platform connects you and the podcast producer directly

    Reach out to podcast producers.

I'm a massive fan of taking matters into your own hands and being the one to create an opportunity for yourself.

I suggest that you get started by researching shows you'd love to appear on and put together a well-polished podcast pitch.

Before you begin searching for a podcast to guest post on, make sure you're crystal clear on who you're trying to reach with your message and what problem you wish to help them solve.

    Then craft your pitch.

Be sure that each pitch you write is uniquely written for each podcast producer. Don't just send a canned email with a link to your podcast pdf; actually, listen to a few episodes of the show you're pitching and add specific details as to why you love that show and how you can provide value to their audience.

Remember: make it about what they'll gain, not you.

Your email pitch campaign should be short with a few paragraphs with enough information for your hosts to determine if you're a good fit.

Write a few sentences about who you are, your topic idea, key bullet points you'll share, and your credentials. Say what you'd like to discuss on the show and explain what value you can bring to their audience.

Bonus points if you craft an SEO friendly title and provide pre-written questions that the host can ask you in your podcast pdf pitch deck with a high-resolution headshot. The more comfortable you can do it on the production team, the more likely you'll be selected as a guest on their show.

To help you craft the perfect pitch and gain visibility quickly, GET THE PODCAST PITCH KIT.

    Find A "Media Doppelganger."

What's a media doppelganger, you ask? Great questions!

It's someone who has similar expertise as you and a more extensive PR exposure whom you'd like to emulate. *note that I did NOT say copy

For example, you're a personal trainer who helps postpartum mamas get their pre-baby body back.

Head to Google and search for other well-known pros in your arena of expertise. Go to their media page on their website (if they have one) to see which podcasts they've previously been published.

If they haven't listed their appearance on their website, you can type [their name + "podcast"] into the search bar on Google, iTunes, Stitcher, or the like to find where they've been featured.

After you've researched your doppelganger's press past, please search for the show producers' contact information and send them a personalized message.

    Stay Organized

Organize your show leads by creating a podcast outreach spreadsheet that will help you track which podcast has responded to you and who have said yes or no to having you as their guest.

Your spreadsheet will include details like:

    • Podcast name
    • Podcast topic
    • Podcast website
    • Host contact info
    • Record of pitches sent
    • Record of received responses
    • A section of follow-ups

Better yet, invest only $27 and  GET THE PODCAST PITCH KIT, which includes both a pre-made Google spreadsheet and Trello board to help keep you or your VA organized.

The podcast reaches out to you.

The more podcast guesting you do, the more likely other shows will invite you to collaborate.

But let's say, for example, that you're a newbie, and this is your first go at getting booked? How might you get a podcast producer to reach out to you?

Here are a few simple ways to encourage podcast producers to reach out to you:

Ask your circle of influence, ask those closest to you if they know of any podcast producers seeking guests, and let them know that you're interested in being considered a contributor.

Join podcast 'pods' (i.e. Facebook groups). Keep your eye on producers who say that they're looking for guests to feature on their show.

Introduce yourself to the community and let the co-creators in the group to which you can bring value.

Show your interest in being a guest by liking, subscribing, and leaving regular thoughtful and relevant comments that add value under their show notes or social posts.

Create high-value content that brings massive value to their audience; doing so will increase your chances of being a guest when you reference it on a podcast.

Connection by a third party platform

The third strategy involves guests and podcasts, connecting through a third-party platform. For a fee, a third-party organization will connect you with opportunities.

Here's my go-to pick for helping you get connected with other podcast hosts.

In conclusion, becoming a podcast guest is a smart marketing (and did I mention FREE) strategy to help you build credibility. Not only will you refine your brand's message as you go and be exposed to new prospective clients, but you'll also be creating opportunities to turn your guest podcast interview into evergreen money generating machine.

For more clarity on how to do this, link to the video linked above and watch the interview, I did with Visibility Vixen, Michelle Lewis.

Then do be sure to drop a comment below letting us know what your biggest takeaway was. I can't wait to see what you have to say.

  • Group Coaching | Create, Launch & Sell Your High-Ticket Offer in 5 Simple Steps

Does the thought of having to sell your high-level group coaching program make your stomach turn or your knees knock?

    Well,

Read on because, in this post, I’m going to share my six-part sales strategy with you so that you can max out your high-level group coaching program enrollment fast.

This is step five of a five-part series, where I’m helping you create, launch, and sell your high-level group coaching program. This series is the exact strategy I used in my business to ditch the one-on-one coaching model and successfully launch my high-level group coaching program in less than five days earning just under $12,000.

If you missed the first four steps of the five episodes, I highly suggest going back and have a read. Over there, you’ll learn:

    •  How to get crystal clear on your promise to clients
    • How to outline and identify your process to help them.
    • How to package your first group coaching program
    • How to price your group coaching program

Step five is all about sales and what you need precisely to pitch your high-level group coaching program successfully, and to fill up those enrollment sits fast.

While I’m a huge fan of leveraging online intelligent marketing sales strategies to automate things, it’s essential to connect with your prospective client when you’re first starting.

One of my sales tips and tricks is that I didn’t leverage the online space to launch my program in five days. I did it the old fashion way. I picked up the phone and made some calls.

Think about who you can be calling and do the same. When you’re on those calls, exercise not only the six sales strategies I’m teaching here, but for the first initial touchpoint, I want you to use the quiet method.

Ask open-ended questions, understand their problem, investigate and identify some of their core objectives, and then empathize with them to let them know that you know what they’re going through.

The six steps in sales strategies

I love to give credit where credit is due. I originally learned this from Tony Robbins in his business Mastery Class.

    • Identify and connect

When you’re on a call with your prospective client, you need to spend the first 40% of the call asking those open-ended questions leveraging the quiet method, and understanding the client’s needs, desires and objectives.

This is your opportunity to not make it about you, but to enthusiastically get the prospective client to say all out loud, “Me too, Yes, me too.” This is your time frame to connect with them on a deeper level.

    • Logic

This is the perfect time to give your prospective clients facts or statistics, taking them through a quick overview of the transformation experience they will have with you inside your group coaching program. Keep this short, maybe 10% of your call.

Provide some logic for them and let them know why it would be logically a good idea to learn more about your program and ultimately enroll.

    •  Attack and confront

Just like any good game, we know that the defense wins. Your sales strategy has to be the same. You need to have a defense. Get in front of the objectives.

Your prospective clients may have two main objectives: they don’t have time or don’t have enough money to invest right now. Prepare your sales pitch in such a way that you’re the first person to bring up those objectives. Don’t wait for them to say it.

This will put you in a power position, and when it comes time to ask them if they have any other questions, most likely, they will say no because you attacked and confronted them head-on.

    •  Pain

Push on that pain a little bit. Remind them why they set up this recovery call in the first place. Maybe something is not going right in their marriage, finances, business, or health, and they are either completely ignoring the signs and symptoms, or perhaps they figured out a way to deal with it on a high level.

    •  Solve

This is your opportunity to lift the bandage off and remind them of the open wound they have, and you’re going to be the person who can help heal them by then presenting your solution in your high-level group coaching program.

    1. Ask for the sale

Collect the payment, have them sign the contract, and celebrate with your victory dance.

    Conclusion

It’s time to get in motion; it’s your turn to take some massive action to create, launch, and sell your high-level group coaching program. Start putting together your prospective list. Create a simple handwritten sheet with a name and phone number, make those calls, and share this opportunity with them.
