When you work from home it’s sometimes hard to separate work and your life because everything happens at the same address. This can have a negative effect on your productivity. So how can you combat this?
Simply put, if you want to be more productive, you need more self-care. And I’m not talking about the most common things that probably came to mind like taking a bath or going to a spa. There is one form of self-care that is often forgotten when working from home. Tune in to find out what that is so you can get your spark back!

I decided to take a break from social media in September mostly to reclaim some of my time. I decided I would stay active but not be obligated to a schedule. I didn’t determine how long the break would be in advance.
I'm currently four months in and let me tell you, I am loving it! So in this episode I’m sharing what I've learned during my social media sabbatical. I will be honest up front and let you know everything I learned isn’t positive but the positive things I’ve learned are worth it.

Something has gotta give! Have you ever made that statement? It’s usually what happens when you aren’t working towards what you truly want. But then again, it’s scary to start something new. At this point, you have to have what I call a black coffee conversation with yourself.
There is a four step method you can follow to help you identify your desired lifestyle, your identity, your feelings, and your expression. It’s Christina Giordano’s L.I.F.E method which is a thoughtful approach to going after what you want in life intentionally. Having this clarity also matters in your marketing. So today, Christina and I talk about her signature method and how to create more alignment so that you can set yourself up for success starting now and into 2022.

Running an online business doesn't mean everything has to depend on you.
The Mind Your Time podcast is for established online business owners, entrepreneurs and service-based…
I'm Shannon Baker, a Capacity Systems Strategist with more than 25 years of experience helping entrepreneurs improve how work gets done. I help women recognize where their online business depends on them more than it should, decide what actually needs their attention first, and make changes so everything doesn’t depend on them.
On the podcast we talk about what that looks like in real life:
- Clients who have too much access to you
- Team members who can do the work but still need you to tell them what happens next
- Processes that live in your head
- Decisions that keep coming back to you
- Work you've delegated but end up doing yourself
This podcast will help you answer questions like:
- How do I build an online business that runs without me?
- What actually needs my attention as an online business owner?
- Why does everything in my business still depend on me?
- When should I stop doing something myself and hand it off?
- Why isn't delegating saving me more time?
- What business systems do I need to save time?
- How do I set better boundaries with my clients?
- Why does my team still need me to answer every question?
- How do I keep my business running when I take time off?
The goal isn't to remove yourself from your business. It's to make sure everything doesn't require you. I believe your time is accessible, but not "Open Access."
So if you're ready for some time-saving tips and strategies so you have more time to lead your business, grab your coffee and join me for a conversation.
