Few draft experts had Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel pegged to be the fifth quarterback drafted last week. Going in the third round seemed high. But the Cleveland Browns clearly had a vision for college football’s most experienced signal caller when they selected him 94th overall.

It felt like the perfect situation, where he could develop with veteran, but replaceable, quarterbacks ahead of him.

Then, 50 picks later, another quarterback was drafted: Shedeur Sanders to ... the Cleveland Browns.
