It was an honor and privilege to have a conversation with celebrity Decluttering Expert Tracy McCubbin! We've had great guests so far!
Tracy and I talked about, as the title of this episode states, "why filling our homes with stuff leaves us feeling empty, and tips for bringing more happiness to our homes." You do not want to miss this timely and eye-opening chat!
Tracy is the acclaimed founder of dClutterfly, and author of the new book Make Space for Happiness: How to Stop Attracting Clutter and Start Magnetizing the Life You Want, (To be released on October 4, 2022).
In Make Space for Happiness, Tracy expands on her debut, widely acclaimed book, Making Space, Clutter Free, to revisit the seven Clutter Blocks - mind traps that make us unable to let go of possessions that we don’t want, use, or love in order to make real change - to now helping her thousands of clients examine the deep root of how their excess possessions got there in the first place.

Are you wondering if hiring a home organizer remotely is right for you? This means that we will get on Zoom together so I can guide you step-by-step on how to get organized, whether that be your kitchen, pantry, office, or any other cluttered spaces that are currently frustrating you. We will problem-solve together and in the end, you will have an organized space that you will love.
If so, I invite you to listen to this episode, a conversation I had with my former client about her experience from the time we started working together to where she is now in her life.
Enjoy!

Decluttering and organizing can positively impact our overall mental health and here are 3 of my takeaways from the recent episodes where we focused on our mental well-being.
As the month of May came to a close, I hope that, in honor of Mental Health Awareness month, you took the time to do some self-care and released some of that mental load through tidying up.

Good grief, Grace!!! (Emoji head in hand)
As if the topics needed to get any heavier this month for Mental Health Awareness, I add another tough one: grief. But I promise you that this is a much-needed conversation even if you are not currently experiencing grief, it will be eye-opening and will help you navigate a life transition, no matter how small.
My new friend and fellow professional organizer, Jenn Dickel graciously accepted my invitation to come to the podcast to talk about grief organizing. Say what? Well, listen to the episode and find out what this is all about.
More about Jenn:
Jenn is a professional organizer and founder of Seasonal Navigation Organizing. Her mission is to help women adapt, enjoy, and be able to find what helps them live their best life in their current seasons of life, navigating the transitions to new seasons and leaving old seasons behind.

Here are 3 simple actions I am taking to care for my mental health and how you can too.
When we think about medical concerns, I feel that mental health is like an afterthought and I hope to be an advocate to help bring more attention to it as much as physical health.
Enjoy!

What happens between our ears matters! Our mental health is just as important as physical health and I hope to begin the conversation with you through this episode.
What does mental health have to do with getting our homes and lives decluttered and organized? More than we realize! Though I only scratch the surface in this episode, I hope to have more conversations with you about the impact of clutter and organization on one's mental well-being.
