It’s been a tough week for the stock market, especially on the UK side. Inflation has been weighing on both the FTSE 100 and the FTSE 250. 

There’s also an interesting set of developments for oil and commodities, but where does this mean we should be looking for stocks to buy? Steve and Steve have the same sector in mind?

Steve and Steve are fielding questions about the winners and losers from their stock portfolios. There’s also a rant about antifragility, what it is and what it isn’t that you probably don’t want to miss!

Steve W’s top loser is a dividend stock that might be a surprise. But there’s no surprise about Steve D’s biggest winner – anyone that’s been watching the show will know which one it is by now…

Normally we talk about things we’ve been reading/listening to/engaging with. This week, Steve D has a full-blown Blinkist summary of ‘The Fund’ – it just keeps on giving. 

With Boeing shares down, Steve W has been revising his notes on the Business Breakdown podcast covering the stock. But is this his opportunity or Someone else’s?

Warren Buffett has been looking for an acquisition opportunity for ages. Steve D thinks the Berkshire Hathaway CEO ought to just get on with the business of buying Boeing outright. 

The Berkshire Hathaway CEO has a huge cash pile. But Steve W has some hesitations with the idea of buying something of Boeing’s size and scale. 

Steve D is on a 2-3 part series on stocks he’s looking at. Part 1 was on Progyny and the next part is right here – it’s on Clearwater Analytics.

The stock is growing quickly and strongly and it looks like the margins are going to come through. There’s a bit of a question mark over the company’s market cap, though.
