What were Klal Yisroel praying for during the October 7th massacre?

Were the Angels offended when Avrohom asked them to wash their feet? Why did Eliezer ask Rivka for water if it was her destiny to marry Yitzchok anyway? Why did Eliezer Daven that he be answered in the merit of Avrohom having water brought for the angels?
