Our Home: A Portrait of Thanksgiving :: [Ep. 15]

I’m embarrassed to say that Praise is not part of my every day life. I catch glimpses of it on Sunday morning during the three obligatory songs. I am thankful for my family and husband and what God has provided for my daily needs, and sometimes I even remember say thank you for those gifts. But thanksgiving doesn’t play a huge role in my life. It sort of gets tacked on here and there haphazardly.

But you and I could hang our life’s timeline out on this framework. Check it out:
You fell FROM thanksgiving. You were redeemed BY thanksgiving. Your purpose ENCOMPASSES thanksgiving. And Your future IS thanksgiving.
If you look at it in those terms, thanksgiving becomes kind of big deal. More than just travel and turkey the 4th Thursday in November in North America.
